Tiote was atrocious today. Pardew got his tactics wrong in my opinion , we played and set up for a draw and every time we do that we play that **** hoof ball to our lone striker. Ba was getting absolutely no service. Liverpool deserved the win in my opinion simply because too many of our players were ****. Tiote , Obertan and Simpson were abysmal. Two things did make me smile today though : 1) Carroll's inability to score if when it's laid on a plate for him. 2) The away contingent outsinging the home fans with the greatest of ease even when losing 3-1.
Like quendo says this is a temporary loss of form. He will come good again. So i'd say no sale at £20m.
Very good question. Based on recent performances; yes. We desperately need a right winger and a left back (Santon is a RB. We're really after a LB), and we've got Guthrie to cover CM until we get a proper replacement. But, he'll find form again, I know he will. He's only just back from injury and in all honesty I thought tonight he looked better. If we got a draw I think people would be saying differently about him. Another daft 30-odd million bid from someone, though, and I'd probably accept it IF it was ALL invested on players. Doesn't even need to be a big fee. Hoillet and Barnetta are available on a free in the summer, even.
Thanks for that Newcastle are solid through the middle like i have said, they just need a few players in for the wings and full backs and they will be fine for a top 8 finish. And then a few more in the summer and who knows

Agreed. I've watched you a couple of times this season and I believe you've looked just as good, if not better, with the Guthrie/Cabaye partnership instead of the Tiote/Cabaye one. With that in mind I was thinking that you could really strengthen in some of the areas that you're currently struggling in (right mid, right back and possibly upfront/left back/cover for S.Taylor) with £20m+ to spend. I suppose its all hypothetical though, as Mike Ashley would only let you spend about half of the transfer fee. I think Hoilett would be a great signing for you on a free, I reckon he'll be bought by someone in January though as Blackburn seemingly need the funds from his departure so will push him out in January. Do you think you'll be in for him in January? Have there been any rumours about him going to Newcastle?
Carroll should have had at least two goals. Do you remember in the first half when Jose flash a ball across our 6 yard line but nobody was there? Carroll was stolling forward into the box at the time. He's the lone striker, he should be busting a gut to get on the end of it.
Every Spurs fan is a ****er on not606. Hope the ****ers drop like a stone in the second half of the season, and I have a feeling they will, when Adebayor throws his customary hissy fit, Van der Vaart gets another injury and Ledley King's knee malfunctions.
Guthrie always gives his all and has put in some very good performances, but I think Tiote in form is better. He just needs to find that form this season. I think we need to look for a RW instead of Obertan, a LB with Santon at RB, a CB to cover Saylor this season and provide competition next season (also as a replacement for Colo eventually, expect him to leave in the next couple of seasons), and cover up front. I really hope we go in for Hoillet, though I don't think we will. There was a rumour I think but not heard much of it for a while. I don't think we'll attempt to buy him but I think we should at least attempt to get him on a pre contract agreement and get him free in the summer. Or Barnetta, either one. Drenthe would also be quite good. Real don't want him, Everton can't afford his wages, I reckon we could come in with a sneaky offer in the summer. At the minute, our right side is definitely the worst, and it's showing.
Hoillett will go in January IMO, Blackburn wont let him go for nowt. Then again this is a club run by the Venky's and Steve Kean...
Anything could happen! Catch 22 for them. They sell him in January, they drop further towards relegation. They don't let him go, and they have to let him go on a free in the summer.
