That second goal today was a ****ing joke. I'm not even pissed off with the fact that it was never a free kick (at the time I said it was a bloody good tackle, which is apparently not allowed anymore) but more so at Danny Simpson. What the hell was he doing? I could defend better than that, it was an absolute embarrassment!

On top of that if he just put his foot through the ball Liverpool would not have had a throw in so close to our goal for the third one...the stupid prick just dilly dallyed on the ball!

Also does anyone else hate how he has a go at everyone else when he makes a stupid mistake and pulls a face that makes you want to kick the **** out of him?

We have the worst right hand side in the Premier League, I don't even want to get started regarding that thing that plays right mid. The sad thing is, with a new right back, right mid and striker...we would have a bloody good team.

    So close, yet so far.

Totally agree, our right hand side is probably worse then lower Championship teams!

The player I'm most pissed about is Tiote. Simpson might have been ****e but his heart was in it. Sell Tiote ASAP

I'd be tempted to play Santon and Taylor as our fullbacks next game (if Taylor isn't injured). Surely a defender should know that if you're going to stand on the line you stay at the post, and if you're going to block away from the post you keep out of the keeper's way... Third goal I blame equally on Tioté ****ing around (no short pass options perhaps) and Simpson.

We must have watched different games cos his passing was dreadful and his effort was worse. Re-watch the last goal - look at his lack of effort

Tiote Man of the match for me, only him and Cabaye who looked comfortable on the ball and he wasn't to bad defensively!!

    Tiote MoM

Our right hand side was woeful, and will continue to be untill we sign a recognized left back and put Santon on the right, then we can sort out the RM disaster that is Obertan.

I admit he got worse as the game drew on, but who else was better

Krul had a bad game - he would have saved 3rd if he was in the form he was in against Chelsea
    Simmo was awful
WIllo was average today. Coulnd't control Carroll
Raylor and Santon were not really in the match for long parts
Cabaye had his worst game so far.
    HBA was invisible
    Ba didn't get enough possession.
Jonas and Obertan - dont go there

Tiote held the ball up, kept moves flowing and never ended a move with a stray pass like Cabaye or Obertan did tonight

Tiote was partly at fault for the third goal, but except for that and a few sloppy passes in the first half...I think he had a great game.

Simpson's heart isn't in it, otherwise he would sign a new contract. I wouldn't mind his hear not being there as long as he was a good footballer, but he is ****!

The problem was where Simpson was standing. I was watching him before Bellamy took the kick, he was running backwards and forwards constantly, just get on the post and stay there man you ****ing idiot. He was so pre-occupied with whatever the hell he was trying to do that he ended up nearly in the middle of the goal. Krul would have had that no bother if he'd actually been on the post. So mad at him over that goal, although both players should have taken the initiative.

That was the key word tonight though, initiative. None of our players looked interested in taking the game by the scruff of the neck, there was only one team in it all game even when it was goalless. Liverpool wanted it more and they got what they deserved.

Coloccini was man of the match, he didn't put a foot wrong. I was so impressed with his interceptions etc.

Surprisingly he only made 1 tackle, did get 4 interceptions, 2 clearances and a block though, with 92 passes and 85.9% accuracy (79/92). Cabaye made 5 tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 clearance and 0 blocks. Only 51 passes though, with 82.4% accuracy (42/51).

Danny Simpson is a dreadful footballer. Has one good game a season (Arsenal away last year, Man U away this year), and then goes back to being a right-back who can't mark, has no positional sense and has very little ability on the ball.

i think a big problem tonight was the 5 man midfield, love vuckic think hes gonna be a great player but tonight wasn't the night for him to play. Ba just seemed isolated against 2 huge CB, HBA should have played just off ba i think, but i honestly believe he still isnt fully fit. our good passing play we had was great but the only reason it went for so long is we didnt have a viable outlet to penetrate their defence.

their first 2 goals was fortunate. the first just coming out for Bellamy perfectly, then the cock up for their second.. i think that really took the wind out of us because we was all over the place after that.

hopefully we can get thru the united game without too much damage, then we have a run of winnable games hopefully we can be close to the magic 40 just before we lose our ACoN players. ill be happy then.. even if our January transfers prove disappointing
