Exactly, without Adebayor they would not be anywhere near the top 4 IMO. This is a player that was starting games for arguably the best/2nd best side in world football not even 9 months ago, a proven quality player now playing for Spurs and being subsidised by City. The sooner they scrape this loaning to other Prem clubs bull the better IMO. City should either keep him or get rid <ok>

We were 9 points behind you last year and 6 behind Arsenal. That's pretty close, if it wasn't for your lucky win against us, there would have been only 3 points.

Fulham were 13 points behind us.

<doh>

And we were 9 points behind United, does that mean we "only just" finished behind them? <laugh>

We fully deserved to beat your poor side that only had one shot on target and justice was served as we were rewarded for our attacking playing and the shocking refereeing at both WHL and the Bridge whereby Gomes and Kaboul avoided to of the most blatant red cards you are likely to see <ok>

League position is all that matters.

If Birmingham who finished 18th thus relegated had amassed 9 more points (the gap between you and us last season) they would have finished 9th, does this mean the two clubs were close? <doh>

Spurs were only just below Chelsea and Arsenal last season and have a much better team this season. Chelsea are about the same as last year and Arsenal are clearly worse. If we don't get third place I will be very disappointed. History won't affect the results!

Chavs are not as strong this year, Drog/Fat Fank/Terry are getting old and not as good as last year, Torres is a joke, 4th spot is the best Chavski will get, with the Spuds getting 3rd (if they can keep the players injury free)

Yep Terrys definitely not as good as last year even though his already equalled last years goal tally in 26 less games and has saved us in a few games this season ( mainly the game v the yids ), and 7 goals in 19 for lampard isn't bad either don't think he had that many this time last season. And how is lamps fat? lol idiot

District<ok>

The Irony is mate they can't afford to buy him <laugh>

If we hadn't secured Ade on loan, it would simply have forced Levy to spend the £20 million he's earmarked for our new top striker, that bit earlier.

As it happens, Levy pulled off another spot of brilliant business in the transfer market, giving him more time to pick the right player that we spend our hard-earned cash on.

You guys must wish you had a brilliant strategist, like our Daniel Levy, instead of a Russian oligarch who spends money like a man with no arms.

**** me sideways, are we still debating this ugly little prick.

He's good, but FFS let it go...spurs have two class players to speak off and a good squad to back them up...the difference is the way that everyone knows who the boss is so they all get on with it.

If we had a few less chiefs and a couple more Indians we'd be as cohesive and wouldn't have lost five games already this season.

The point is we have the personnel, just not the mentality...that is on its way and will coincide with a couple of departures in the not too distant.

This is due to chopping and changing managers too often imo

Really? So you'd much rather Sturridge, Kakuta and Van Aanholt had been stuck in your reserves than out getting valuable experience? Or is it one rule for Chelsea and one for the others?

I beg to differ...

<ok>

Yes I would have. They should be loaned to Championship clubs. It is an unfair advantage for rival clubs to gain an advantage from it. I am personally against loaning altogether, I think the whole idea of it is ridiculous tbh, clubs like Cardiff have almost gained PL status by virtue of having an entire squad of loaned players.
