I have mixed emotions on this, part of me feels we are letting a player go that is jsut as good as any of the other midfielders we have at the moment. There would be no doubting that every time the man pulled on a Gas shirt he gave 100%. There is obviously friction between SC and Buckle and i think SC has been advised badly this year, so maybe this is the time to move on. SC will not be able to run around breaking up play forever as recent injury's will probably show.

Thank you though SC for always giving 100% and all the best for the future.

Thank you Stuart. I have never seen any football captain as good as you.
You were an outstanding example for any young player.
I wish you and your family well.
This club is losing its soul.

to me buckle feels threatened as cams would be his replacement.

im gutted about this. no doubt he will get a contract at league 1 still.

this is just another reason for me to call buckle a ****.

all the best cams. sorry to see you go and sorry you been treated so badly after all the dedication you shown to my club. you deserve a better send off. hopefully you get the chance to say your goodbyes at the plymouth game.

The guy is a complete prick, and I hope he is booted before too long. He has already lost 80% of the fanbase and he only been here 5 mins.

I echo all the sentiments noted above. There was many a game where he drove the side by his own force of will when it wasn't going well on the pitch. I wonder if he'll follow Elliott to Cheltenham Town?

    This <ok>

From a Pirate to a Rowdie, makes sense. I'll be looking out for their results.

I was wondering if anyone checked the stats when Cambs was caretaker boss? I know we went down but my guess is they were probably better than most if not all of Trolls predecessors. If nothing else he raised team spirit and we at least put up some sort of fight.

Here's wishing you all the very best SC and many thanks for the great service you gave us over the years, if only every player had your spirit and drive we would be in a very different situation than we find ourselves in today. God Bless.

he had the last 12 games.

when he took over:- we were 23rd, won 7, drew 9, lost 18, scored 37, conceded 69, gd -32 and on 30 points.
    http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-one/2010-2011/table/2011-03-05

after his 12 games:- we ended 22nd, won 11, drew 12, lost 23, scored 48, conceded 82, gd -34 and on 45 points.
    http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-one/2010-2011/table

so his 12 games were: won 4, drew 3, lost 5, scored 11, conceded 13, gd -2, and points 15 from possible 36.

league only, buckles stats for his 1st 12 games in charge were:
    won 4, drew 3, lost 5, scored 14, conceded 20, gd -6, and points 15 from possible 36.

identical stats between buckle vs cams.
both won 4, drew 3 and lost 5. only difference is we score a couple more under buckle and conceded way more under buckle.

or shall we do last 12 games league games for buckle:
    won 2, drew 2, lost 8, scored 15, conceded 26, gd -11, 8 points from possible 36.

bucks stats are getting much worse as each game passes by.

I suppose the main difference is SC took over a demoralised team and was on a hiding to nothing whereas Uncle Buck has had the opportunity to literally start from scratch building a completely new squad.

By my reckonning Cambs, given the resorces made available to Buckle, would have done a tidy job managing us. He would certainly have had a load of respect from the dressing room.
