    He's abit like marmite.
One game he'll be scoring great goals and playing excellently, but the next match he could be really lazy and would have the fans on his back.

For me, he is vitally important to our squad. I think people are forgetting that he has already scored 10 goals (league and cup) this season and has got 6 assists. Those stats show that however he performs he still gets goals, that at the end of the season, might prove vital for our promotion push in may.

I know some people on here have different opinions on Guly and he can be frustrating sometimes but he is still a good player for us.

Also, he shouldn't be on the post if he is to affraid to head away from his own goal from a corner. (<doh>)

I'd agree - there is alot of ****ING HELL GULY WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU PRICK and GULY WHAT A BEAUTY! moments in one game

i do however think he shouldnt start away from home, as that is where he is poorer imo but is good/bad at home (inconsistency)

Think people are confused because we all know Guly has lots of talent, but surely it's better than having a consistently average player.

    :emoticon-0159-music We've only got one Guly :emoticon-0159-music

He's a bit like a Papa Waigo with a better understanding of the offside rule. A frustrating player to watch, moving from the sublime to the sub-par and back again in the space of a minute, but sometimes you need that little bit of unpredictability to split the opposition defence. He's in amongst the top scorers in the league and there are plenty of Championship teams that'd gladly welcome him in their team, so we should feel lucky that he plays for us.

I didn't rate Papa Waigo at all. Give me Guly over him any day.

I agree, he has hell of a lot more technical ability than Papa Waigo.

Even now, I still can't understand how a professional footballer can be so clueless as to how the offside rule works.

Waigo was all about pace and unpredictability that everyone loved then. But Guly for me can play anywhere in midfield and up-front on his day.
