the man in the mask will be back in the frame for saturday, but would you start him? would you even play him at all? I think Shola does a decent Job for Newcastle (some of the time), but IMO he can't just walk back into the team, he should have to join the back of the queue. If he does play, he can count himself lucky that 'elbows' Feillani wont be playing. Incedentally I thought Ranger did more in the 20 mins he was on than Loven did in the other 70, even putting the ball in the back of the net only for it not to count. He should be given a decent run of games with Best IMO, to allow them to form an effective partnership. After all he's got the potential to be the best striker out of the current crop we have. so who would you start upfront against Everton?
Without a doubt Besty and Ranger. I think they could be fierce together. Both good in the air and on the deck,
Best and Loven for me, we've been rattling the goals in lately (Bburn was an off day) and a lot of that has been down to Loven's movement and Best's workrate. Its not broken so don't fix it!
Also, i've just noticed you can rate your own thread <biggrin> and how the hell do you tag posts? i want my 2nd class tagger badge
It's at the bottom of the page mate, you can add to to someone else's thread, and 5 to you're own (i think me and Toonsi have been shameless so far...).
Shola will be literally unable to walk straight back into the team, as he'll take his time about it and just casually stroll Geddit? Huh? Yeeeahh maybe not.... I can only apologise.. On a more serious note, I'd love to be able to start Ranger but not sure if it's the best option. I still think Best and Lover is the best option we have at the minute, I really do. It's been working for a few games now so why change it.
Best and Lover to start for me. I agree with what you said about Ranger doing more than Loverman in twenty minutes last week, but he only seems to do it when he comes on as sub. He's nowhere near as effective (yet) when he starts. So bring Ranger on with 20 to go and have him cause havoc amongst those tired defenders.
