After initial success playing 4-5-1 its safe to say results haven't continued in the same vein for the past few games. Forest and Coventry really are missed opporunities and showed a distinct lack of any cutting edge up top. Nicky isn't being effective and Albert has been sussed out and is frequently doubled up on. McInnes says that playing two up top makes us much more open but surely it doesn't have to?? James Wilson Carey Nyatanga Skuse...........................McGivern Kilkenny Cisse Pearson Stead Pitman Skuse and McGivern at full back have been very adept at getting forward to provide crosses, Kilkenny and Pearson would also be free to push on and support the front two while Cisse holds in the middle. Also the middle three are all competent in possesion and should be able to keep the ball when needed. Granted it doesn't have to be the exact players shown but I was just trying to show how a front two doesn't have to leave us open, admittedly we cannot currently play 4-4-2 with the current squad. Balls, forgot Fonts is injured so put Carey in.. Ideally we'll get a better CB in jan.
This year's star player in the championship is Adam Lallana. Albert Adomah watches youtube clips of him.
was that after he scored past you...ffs wize ban the fool as for the team it wouldn't work due to not having albert
It was the only way I could think of keeping a balance with two strikers on the pitch, unless you throw on albert instead of Pitman or Stead... But they looked like they had a really good understanding last season. Hence no Albert, way I see it is a choice between 2 strikers or playing Adomah. Last few games he's not been anywhere near as effective as teams know what to do to stop him now.
come on wize, after all he is a bellend surely just put Kilkenny on the left and Albert on the right, despite being doubled up on, he is a game winner, and taking you best player out of the team is madness, plus your lucky im talking to you seeing as you've dropped marv
But then you've got Cisse, Kilkenny and Albert in the middle and we'd get torn apart too easily.. Ah well, it's what DMc gets paid for so i'm sure he'll sort it out in jan anyway! Lmao oh yeah, i'm sure you'll help him get over it!
From what I have seen recently 4-5-1 is ok for keeping us tight and in the game, admittedly we don't score often but then we change the shape to try to be a bit more positive and end up conceding and falling apart in midfield. We need better players all over the park and players that can come on and make a difference, roll on January.
it's technically a 4 1 4 1 formation but anyways i say 3 at back mid 5 can keep same with pit and stead/maynard til sold and dropping skuse due to his passing so Wilson lewin and Ryan the back 3
.............James....................... Skuse Carey Tanglefoot McGiven ..............Cisse........................ .... Adomah Kilkenny Pearson.... .........Maynard Pitman.............. Stead for Maynard if sold, recall Ribs to give us more options in defence now he has proved fitness But this is my go at being manager
