afternoon all, hope everyone is enjoying the run up to Crimbo! i think we can certainly enjoying perched nicely in the top half of the Premier League.

does anybody have any information on Daniel Alaya - he was coming back into training with Zak Whitbread last i heard, and then radio silence. Is he fit and just not breaking into the first team squad, or has there been a set back to his recovery?

he's the only one of the newbies who has yet to be seen in the Premier League.

He's already played briefly but I think he only just got back to full training. Also, we have R Martin, Whitbred, Barnett and De Laet ahead of him.
 
Its Spanish for deer but as we got him on loan he's not so dear. Pity it wasn't his namesake Roberto.
 
Yes, he is. Spain under-21 international & rated by Liverpool fans so appears to have the pedigree. Hopefully we will see both him and Vaughan in action soon.
 
I think he needs to have a couple of good games under his belt when he does get his chance and then I think we'll see the best of him, which sounds like it could be very good indeed. Just hope he can get himself fully fit and do himself justice <ok>
