Wow....there are some angry Potters out there.Yes,the performance last night wasnt the best. However,we all have a "bad day at the office" from time to time.On a positive note we are one more point closer to safety,we couldnt play much worse and we still got something out of the game.
I appeal to all Stokies to try and keep things a little more in context, there will be ups and downs over a season. As I remember it wasnt to long ago that we were struggling in the second and third tiers of English football. All the talk of relegation is very premature as was the talk of european football.I think we should just strap ourselves in and enjoy the ride.KTF.

Most on here would like to avoid that for a while longer. Thats why people get a little heated. I like heated debates and comments instead of KTF ****. I personally will never loose the faith and I don't for a single minute think that anyone ranting over the garbage we saw last night have lost the faith.

    PS welcome ;)

That is true, but we've had far too many bad days at the office this season, it's not like last night's performance was rare, we've been playing poorly for the majority of the season.

    Calm Down.............Dont think so

Under the guidance of our manager we have got progressively worse, with each season we have been in the Promised Land ( performance wise ).

He said that we have a 3 year plan, then will progress as a footballing cub, well he has 6 months left of that 3 year plan.

Just stand back & take a look at his career as a manager, then go to the sites & ask the fans of those clubs if football under pulis was exciting to watch, i bet every one would say NO but he got results.

Can you honestly expect the guy to change his style of play & move a football club on, i don't. So that means we will still have to suffer that dross.

Unfortunately for tony, other teams have now sussed him out, & he cannot adapt to any other system, that is why we are starting to struggle.

Personally the way we are playing right now, i fully expect us to be in a relegation scrap.

PS if i want to rant, then i think that is my right

And if the OP wants to be positive about things, that's also his right.

Fill the corners in its freezing....carrying on ranting its your blood pressure bud and of course we are all entitled to a rant.
Let me just reflect for a second...oh yes, forgive me if im wrong, but are we talking about the same manager who gained us promotion to the PL after years of virtual oblivion in the lower regions of English football? The same manager who has kept us in the PL for the last two seasons and mark my words will do so again this season. After following Stoke under the stewardship of various failures since 1978(excepting Mr Macari) I am more than happy with the current manager.
Before someone starts ranting "You are from the Pulis can do no wrong brigade" I would just like to say that I was as disappointed as anyone last night. However,I like to think Im also a realist and realise like many others that we are Stoke not Spurs,Man City,Liverpool or even Bolton and progress will take time.
P.S. Tony Pukelis-Thankyou for the welcome.Feeling the Stokie love from you all.

Have you not heard mate? You're not allowed to use Pulis' past achievements to quantify your support for him, nor are you allowed to 'just be glad to be in this League'. We should be in the Europa League places by now playing brilliant football with a front 6 of Gudjohnsen, Tuncay, Etherington, Tuncay, Tuncay and Pennant.

Sorry mate,my bad! Whats with the bile and anger on here? Im as passionate about my club as anyone but whoooaaa talk about OTT.We drew 1-1 with WBA ,we didnt loose 0-6. Are we suddenly supposed to conquer all that come before us in a Barcelona esq style of carpet football??? Some folk need to get real.I would like to see progress, so would we all, but surely some patience is required?

I was there in lower reaches of div 3 as well

All im saying is, if you are happy watching that total utter garbage so called football & be happy in the prem then well done you.Pulis's tactics ( if he has any ) are now being found out, & we will continue to struggle.

You have your opinion, i have mine, isn't this what these forums were set up for DEBATE.

As a supporter for over 35 years, i think every now & again i'm entitled to a little rant, when we play as badly as last night.

Tony said a 3 year plan, well in my eyes in the 2 1/2 years we have been in the prem we have gone backwards (playing style).

So lets look forward to the summer & see what signings we make.

I will allways support stoke through thick & thin, they are in my blood, but i dont mind ranting occasionally to let my blood pressure down. <ok>

Smiling Stokie,I am not a` Pulis out` man,so I agree with you more than I do FTCIIF,BUT after watching last night it`s clear to me that even if TP wanted to change tactics he hasn`t got the players to do it.I`m also not a `Tuncay was God` man, but he could be a game changer and we have now got no alternative to pumping the ball up to two big strikers, hoping one will lay off to the other, who will then dribble past a couple of defenders and then slot the ball in the back of the net!! This is obviously what`s expected because the 2 front men get no support from our midfield players because they are still running back from their defensive duties!!I didn`t think it was possible to find a lazier player than Fuller, but Jones makes Fuller look like a human dynamo and at least there is some expectation when Fuller gets the ball(although in my opinion I think the heart has gone out him since the rumours in the last transfer window) but in Jones I expect(and get!!) nothing.I also think Shawcross is getting caught out of position far too often and is definately not as good as he was last season.I think we`ve been`sussed` and am struggling to see where our points are going to come from, and that includes games against W.Ham,Wolves and Blackpool who match us for effort but can at least pass the ball.As for games against Arsenal,Chelsea,Spurs and Man City, can anyone see us getting anything from those games? Sorry to be so gloomy but I suppose I`m more a glass half empty guy!! :emoticon-0101-sadsm:
