Costa del Cwmaman
Although playing for the Mancs, he's now scored in EVERY season of the 20 year old Premiership. Can't see anyone else doing that anytime soon.

Well done fella !!

The most successful Welsh footballer - ever.

Taken for granted by most Welsh fans now. We will be sorry when he retires.

Why will we be sorry? When was the last time he actually had anything to do with Welsh football. Serious questions, I'm out of touch being 6,000 miles away.

he's scored more times off the field than on it .........apparantly.....lucky bugger, but seriously.....

he must be odds on to suceed Gary Speed as welsh manager......i'm sure he'll get the
respect of the players....but what sort of example does it set when he only turned up in a welsh
shirt as a player when it suited him

Got to agree with dicky. Giggs, for all his talent, did not show much respect for the International scene. Friendlies appear to have been an unwanted distraction for him and more often than not it seems he wasn't available.

Even if he didn't pay the International scene as much respect as others, he is not the only one and he won't be the last.

The very fact that he is the only person who has scored in every Premiership season for 20 years, has won 2 European Cups and 12 titles should be enough to give him legendary status in Wales.

When will there be another Welsh footballer to match that record?

PGF don't think anyone is disagreeing with you on his talent or his record in the premiership. His international commitment has raised questions in the past so it does impact peoples views.
