Our midfield totally overran their midfield including Modric in the second half, just like the second half v Spurs last season at TPL.
Buying him would be another 50m waste. He can't do it in the big games like the nancy boy.
The Harris pipers get to that point where they think they have overtaken us and just can't take that final step.

I expect us to finish 10 points ahead of the potatoes this season, as usual

<ok>

They are running out of steam and the last 3 games have shown that. They will lose to us at the Bridge as well as Arsenal, City and Liverpool Away <ok>

This contradicts what you wrote in your thread

If they were so bad and you were so good how come you failed to score in that second half when you "totally overran their midfield"?

"they have overtaken us and just can't take that final step."

Spurs - played 19, won 11, drawn 3, lost 3, points 35
Chelsea - played 17, won 10, drawn 3, lost 4, points 33

Looks as though Chelsea struggled to convert that 2nd half dominance into goals, perhaps buying a decent striker in January might be an idea.

The possession statistics show that Spurs had 56% and Chelsea just 44% so if Chelsea are so good how come they didn't win and, more importantly, why are they 2 points and 1 place behind Spurs?

This has been made because a certain Spud was unbelievably confident they were going to comfortably beat us.

They had a better first half, we had a better 2nd. Like I've said countless times, a draw was fair and both teams failed to take chances.

How? You are going through a blip. I still maintain the fact you will lose at least 3 out of 4 of the way games you face vs Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and City <ok>

How is that fact we beat arsenal and Liverpool away last season. And the games are months away so what has form now got to do with it? We must be doing something right if drawing with chelsea is bad form

Because you are big game bottlers away from home which has been proven time and time again on previous visits to the Bridge and Old Trafford <ok>

You are getting better at Anfield and Emirates though I'll give you that, then again Liverpool and Arsenal were not what they were which is probably a contributory factor. When the pressure is on Spurs Always crack <ok>

Well, in numerical value yes, you could say that Spurs will finish 'above' Chelsea.
