Steed and/or Zenden have to start and lets see what Riveros can do for all the money he's being paid to warm the bench I think he'll do well against the Arsenal style of play.Jordan is a problem for me-if he's not RM then leave him out as he can't hack it as CM

sussex mackem - agreed, if jordan plays it's right midfield, games have been passing him by in the middle. i'd go with onuoha/mensah/bramble/bardsley, and play five across the middle - muntari and riveros playing deeper, and then two wide men and one behind gyan, a combination of sessegnon, richardson and malbranque. i think zended has his uses in matches like this too, i'd like to see him get a good run out. wouldn;t surprise me to see malbranque played in the middle with muntari, and elmohamady on the right wing though.

Find some balls and go out and stuff them. The performance against Everton was woeful and if their are options for some players who are currently not in form e.g. Hendo sub them

Agree about Wiltshire which leads me to think, why can't Henderson do the same? we gfo on about Henderson being a young lad and yet here's a kid younger than Hendo and imo is far superior. Sort of nullifies the argument.

Possibly Arsenal may play with only a few first teamers as their next match us is away to Barcelona

What and get fined by the FA for fielding a weakened side!!!!

Ooops sorry it's Arsenal we are talking about that only happens if your club is called something like Blackpool or Wolverhampton Wanderers!

Smokeys right! Attack Attack Attack! Their next game against Barca will be on their minds. They're bound to rest front-line players, so I think we've got play ugly get in their faces and not let them rest for a second. I usually don't like the idea of playing ugly but we have to break the run we are on!

i think wilshere is far more natural playing in the middle. he's comfortable on the ball with limited space, uses it well, and likes to get stuck in. henderson i think often looks pressed for time and space when he's in the middle, so he makes "safety first" passes. he's a natural wide midfielder, better at running down the wing and pinging crosses in, as well as not having to stick his foot in as much.

reckon henderson would win in a fight though.

If you're talking about him and Wiltshire I will give you good odds on Hendo mate. <ok>
Personally think Wiltshire would spark him while Hendo was still making up his mind what to do next. :):):)

Henderson should be taken out of the firing line before his confidence goes for good and we lose a promising although immature player

We need to get stuck in from the off. Press them high up the pitch and use the ball well when we get it. Simples really!
Henderson is only good for RM. Zenden is injured. Why not give Riveros a run out? He can hardly do any worse than the rest.
I don't care if we lose (well I do really) but what I want to see is some belief and plenty of fight. They've got a massive game on Tuesday so this could be a great time to play them. Keep the faith
