Starmers resignation speech was all self indulgent crap

How I love my country, everything I’ve done is for my country - etc it’s all utter bollocks

The media are all cooing over him being emotional

Shame he couldn’t show the same emotion over Southport, the rape gang victims etc

Good riddance to the worst prime minister ever.

As for Burnham he has made a career out of u turns

The interest on our national debt was £12bn last month, that’s what needs tackling
He wasn’t a good PM for certain, but the WORST?
That has to be Truss surely? Single handedly trashed the economy in a couple of weeks, then retired on a PMs pension for life.

I think Truss and Kwarteng had the right ideas, but the lack of communication re their plans to the treasury/city/bond markets was dreadful
In terms of a personality and complete lack of understanding of what the electorate want, it’s Starmer hands down for me

Butnham isn’t even a sitting MP
what sort of banana republic allows someone to swan in a probably become PM from nowhere ?

Banana republics are probably laughing at what a dysfunctional country this is
I agree but we just have to live through it.
Have to say I liked Burnham's reply to the Messiah jibe in Parliament..... no, 'a naughty boy'.

He’s certainly got charisma and wit - but so did Boris.
We will see………
Burnham didn't have any charisma when put on the spot by Victoria Derbyshire about fiscal rules.
Did not like being asked a direct question requiring an answer.
He went all giddy not 'wanting exam questions'.
It was easy being given money as a Mayor, different gravy when allocating funds from Westminster.

Ps I think Pickford is a sandwich short of a picnic.

Out of all of our recent PMs Boris wins hands down imo..yes the odd skeleton as every minister. But had the feel good factor which we've lacked since he's been booted.
For the future. We need a GE. We need Nigel & Rupert to bang their heads together and get this shower of a government out.
Who knows, they could persuade Boris to join them...!!!

Boris was very flawed but what followed is worse

Badenoch is performing well in PMQs but they are largely to blame for the state the country is in today

I agree 100% that Nigel and Rupert and possibly the Tories need to come together otherwise we’re doomed to more of this nonsense for years to come

A while ago we had countless good politicians on all sides of the house who had life or business experience which they brought to the job

We’re now down to largely career politicians who do exactly the opposite of what the majority of the country want with very few exceptions
