I've got an electric Renault Zoe. It's OK for local stuff, but I'm getting the heebie-jeebies about a forthcoming trip to Snowdonia. Last time it went on a long journey it decided it didn't want to charge up, that was in Cornwall. The rescue service mechanic fixed it more by luck than judgment. The software can't be trusted.

Full electric, charge at home between 2am and 5am, the cheap rate.

That’s on my friends ‘possible’ list and a very nice looking motor as well.. Have you experienced any of the above potential issues ?

You wouldn’t know it was part electric except the car goes almost silent at times. Never had any negative feedback from passengers.
My kids say it sounds like a spaceship when I pull up.

Just fill up at the petrol station easy peasy

When I was a nipper, I used to go out on my local milkman's float for a couple of hours on Saturday mornings. I loved it. Sam would stop off at the seafood stall in Woolwich and buy me jellied eels or cockles, which was manna for a constantly hungry lad.
