Yeah but he’s not a quality worthy of £100m. I do agree that we need to pay a higher salary though.

He's not but tbh hardly anyone is anymore in any market bracket.

The reality of trying to land a player who is PL proven, from a PL rival, with other PL teams interested, is that you pay through the teeth to do it.

He’ss good player but isn’t worth £100m or £275k per week! Still, I admire the new found aspirations from the Board!
£100m does seem excessive but considering the ****e we’ve overpaid on over the last 5 years, I can live with overpaying a bit on a genuinely good footballer.

Just make sure he stays away from all the bookies along the high road.

Bale said he was amongst the most talented players he'd seen.
I think every Spurs fan would agree, no one could deny the bloke’s ability, just amazes me how someone with that much ability wouldn’t want to put it to work. If he had just half the work rate/ mentality of Hojbjerg, he’d have been sold to Madrid for £100m after a few seasons, not having his contract terminated.

Absolute ****ing idiot and complete waster.

Ally Gold says we're close to signing Dubravka on a free.

Decent backup with loads of PL experience.

But this does suggest that Kinsky will be #1 next season, which if true caps the most remarkable redemption arc in football history.

De Zerbi must rate Kinsky. Not sure why.

For me a new keeper is almost as pressing as a new striker.

It's quite sad.

Most of us would happily play for free if we had that kind of talent.

Mateus Fernandes inching closer apparently, £85m which is a huge fee for a player just relegated.

We're apparently offering higher wages than United, which makes this deal colossal.

I'm starting to worry that the owners got so spooked by last season that they've now gone to the other extreme and in four years we'll either be bankrupt or kicked out the Football League for breaches of PSR.

Yeah I want a new number one.

Although I must admit I think it’s probably 4th in the pecking order for me due to the defensive reinforcements.

Striker, left wing, midfield playmaker and then keeper is my preference of strengthening.

Seeing as he’s just 21, I think we can probably expect to see Gray ask to leave just like Bergvall if this and the Tonali deals happen.

Bentancur, Tonali, Fernandes and Gallagher in a season with one game a week. Sarr, Bergvall and Gray stand no chance of getting minutes, some won’t even make the squad.

I don't think Tonali will join us, I think if top 2 are both interested he will join one of them. Fernandes I think there is a better chance, but I am still quite pessimistic. As for Gray needs to be loaned to someone like Coventry or Ipswich and hopefully he get lots of minutes.

Fernandes hasn't just been relegated: He was relegated last year too!

As for the spending, one thing people forget is we were set to splash out last summer as we had £120m worth of bids accepted the same day for Kudus and Gibbs-White...but then Lard Ass Hogan pissed on our chips and that completely hobbled our momentum in the transfer market overnight, and our rebound attempts saw us waste a ****load of time when it was obvious Savinho wasn't going to happen and get dicked around by Eze

I think it’s likely that RDZ will use Gallagher in rotation with Madders as Xavi, Kulu and Odobert are doubtful to feature from the start of the season. There was some hopeful whispers about Kulu recently but even if he’s training by the time the season starts it’s going to take him ages to get up to speed. Plus him and Odobert are probably wingers first, not 10s. Xavi and Odobert likely not back until December-ish anyway, surely?

All to say, I don’t think it’s all 3 of the young CMs going, it’s probably 1-2 depending on incomings.

Maybe initially whilst Simons is out but not a chance Gallagher stays as a ten, he’s so technically and creatively lacking it’s painful. Long term he’ll be competing with whoever we have at CM.

If it does end up being both Fernandes and Tonali, along with Bentancur, then I see Sarr, Bergvall and Gray all as goners. Just don’t see the point of them being here, from the team and their POV’s. There’ll be no minutes for them, even in cups (cue an injury crisis joke lol).
