He would. His fascination with overpriced PL proven is destroying the club.

The recruitment team and strategy is exactly the same. They messed up last summer, and used the obvious excuse that Mitchell had left. It was the perfect get out of jail card, so now they've chucked Wilson in Mitchell's role and will carry on the same way.

I'm waiting on the old 'small pool of players' line for absolute comfirmation, that nothing has changed.

Not really sure how I feel about this, but he's definitely a Howe type, and as we've seen with Elanga, Trafford, and Ramsay, Howe gets fixated on his targets and keeps going after them.

He might actually be a good signing tbf, but I feel like it'll not go down very well.

If it's like 40 million I'd be surprised if we could get a better striker you know for that price.

I love how him scoring 1 goal in 20-odd games has seen his value increase by £10 million, no thanks!

If Curtis Jones is supposedly going for £21 million, that's a bargain actually. The down side is it means willock is worth about £15.99

I would have quite happily taken him from Ipswich before Chelski pulled on his heart strings and he went there. It's blown up in his face but I think £40m is rather steep. By that valuation, Osula must be around the £60m mark now then.

We'll do our usual dance routine of course, offer £30m up front with a 5p add on for every goal scored for the remaining years that would have been left on his Chelsea contract, Ipswich will then come in for him tugging on his heart strings again and he'll end up there.

If we're seriously thinking of getting shot of either Woltemade or Wissa (or both) and looking to bring another striker in, we should be all over Atleti for Sorloth. Thats far too creative thinking for our lot tho sadly.

What was it like in the third tier? first or second time.

Not as funny as being there. Giving you a 8 year head start on us then still beating you twice (once with our reserves) and finishing above you with ease over a 38 game season.

Every Sunderland fan loves you lot reminding us about it. It just makes what we did to you lot last season even more embarrassing for your entire club and fanbase
