Seated at BC Place for the New Zealand v Egypt match. Mostly Egyptian M. Salah shirt wearing fans here but a couple of Kiwi's buddies just arrived.

Rooting for Chris Wood to score and setup goals for NZ and keep Salah under control (if that is possible).

Beautiful goal, tall NZ defence holding out well, keeping M. Salah under control and mostly quiet. Some of the Gypos go down like babies, for the ref to assign a free kick, then immediately spring to life again. Should be an interesting 2nd half, an extra goal would certainly be nice for NZ to relief the squeaky bum time.
 
Yeah 3-1 final score. After their goal, NZ were devoid of attacking options. More a case of just lumping it forward. Belgium will beat Pugh nut for them to crack too. Looks like the Aussies are more likely to progress than the Kiwis, unless they were somehow to get a result against Belgium.
