Pollard hit in a century in the MLC to overtake Gayle as the all-time t20 run-scorer.

For a long time now, Pollard and Hales have been swapping positions at 2nd and 3rd - sometimes even within a day or two - whilst both closing in on Gayle. And it's Pollard who has got there first. He's now 133 ahead of Hales, and 20 ahead of Gayle.

As well as scoring those extra handful of runs, the 40-ish minutes duly taken out of the morning session (when you include this change of innings), should mean that there won't be a huge amount time where we bowl without Abbott on. First spell straight away, second spell immediately after lunch. Maybe only something like 30 mins or so before lunch where he won't be on.
