Man charged after suspected anti-Muslim attacks in Edinburgh
Two people were injured close to a mosque and a man was later seen battering the door of a pizzeria as members of the public run away.

Counter-terrorism officers are investigating a number of “violent attacks” in Edinburgh on Friday night that injured five men in suspected anti-Muslim incidents.
A 36-year-old white Scottish man has been arrested and police have said there is no further threat to the public.
Officers were called to the Sighthill area of the city, where two men were injured, at about 8.50pm on Friday. They were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
The Scottish Association of Mosques said two worshippers were attacked in a park after leaving the Broomhouse mosque.

Late to the party but first the persecution was confiscating their stuff. The killing came later (dunno when but certainly not ,1939).
Now i don't know what else the world could do l. World war 2 began in 1939 and unless you think we deliberately prolonged the war for 6 years for ****s and giggles, im not sure what else we could have done to stop zeee germans (we being our ancestors)

No offence mate but I'm yet to encounter anyone from your part of the world who knows a single thing about the Holocaust. I suppose understandable considering it happened so far away and to an ethnic minority that most Asians had never encountered before (with the exception of the Shanghai and Kaifeng communities in China).
It is well documented that the Allies had detailed blueprints of the camps and train lines leading to them, provided by partisans and Jewish prisoners who managed to escape. An excellent film called The World Will Tremble came out a few years back that is based on the true story of two prisoners who escaped the Chelmno extermination camp, which is where the Nazis first experimented with gassings. Really powerful film I highly recommend it.
However, the world very much didn't tremble, it shrugged and went back to sleep. American planes were flying over Auschwitz before the massacre of 500,000 Hungarian Jews had even begun, but FDR deemed that bombing the approach tracks and station was, quote, "not a useful expenditure of wartime munitions".
Meanwhile our own benevolent country passed the White Paper in 1939 which built on the Aliens Act of 1905, severely restricting immigration rules on Jews trying to escape Europe for the safety of Britain, while simultaneously restricting immigration to British Mandate Palestine.
The Allies may not have participated in the Holocaust directly, but their hands are drenched in blood.
Duggie rightly notes that this has led to a deeply entrenched fear and paranoia among Jews that no one can be trusted in an hour of need. Which does lead to massively over the top reactions.

I'm from the UK under a UK education (which probably doesnt mean too much). Ive seen a few documentaries yonks ago and been to a few Holocaust related areas although nothing major yet (was meant to go Auschwitz a few years back but it was pissing it down in Krakow so didnt bother going).
When i get the time i will get to your film so thanks for the recommendation.
With respect to the bombing, it sounds like they could have disrupted the transport but in a close fought war, they made a miltary decision towards winning the war.
Lastly that last act sounds terrible.
In your eyes what realistically could they do to prevent the holocaust?
