Schplendid performance by the Dutch, although Sweden did have a lot of chances.
Netherlands are a team to avoid for England as they have a lot of good, technically gifted players, most with PL experience so they will be used to England’s style and familiar with all the players.
 
Whisper it very quietly, but Poch is working wonders with the US team. Really good, balanced approach to games. Definitely recognise some of the attacking patterns from his time with us.

Certainly starting to shut up all the US soccer 'cogniscenti' who were attacking him so vociferously and indeed racially over recent months.

Basically the same as Klinsmann in 2006: the German press was on his arsch for most of the buildup to the tournament especially when they returned some underwhelming friendly results, but when the tournament started they hit the ground running
