Agreed. Hes probably the next best sellable asset I’d move though over say Slater, Hughes, McBurnie, Belloumi. Maybe Millar

I like Giles, he was fantastic for us at the start of last season. But is he defensively good enough for the prem? He couldn't get in a poor Luton team a few seasons ago and although he's improved since then, it hasn't been by much.
Going forward has never been a problem, he's just not a good defender and I think he'll be found out against prem opposition.

He was brilliant defensively this season. By far our best full back in that regard, he's improved massively under Jakirović.
True, I chose pandur because of his distribution . I think that’s a bigger flaw than Giles defending.

We played them at Scarbourgh in a pre season friendly a couple of seasons back. We sent a very young team made up of several trialists. I went on the train and it was a decent day out. First time I'd been to the new ground which is across the road from the old one. Decent main stand with a bar, and the ground is only about 15mins walk from the railway station passing a couple of decent pubs on the way.
He's come on leaps and bounds under Jakirovic though I always firmly believed there was a player in there.I see him as the type of player that will make the step up with ease but I'm no expert.
Surely Norwich couldn't afford to buy Giles given his massive wage increase...
And replace him with who and for how much though?We're in different territory now and a like-minded replacement could cost much more?

Wilfried Singo of Galatasary and Ivory Coast is definitely the type of RB Hull could do with in the PL.
We don’t want a likeminded replacement though. We want somebody better. Giles is not a premier league standard defender.
As good as Giles is going forward, defending isn’t his strong point. All the decent prem teams are putting a 6’2 almost CB at full back. Spend 20 on someone like that, make us more defensively solid and it makes sense to recoup 8mil.
Well if we've got over a hundred million to spend I don't see much need for shifting Giles on for buttons then?
Don’t think we should shift Giles we need 2 for each position, there are enough players we can let go who won’t be considered for the first team.
The need is the want to not be breaking PSR
