There's two by-elections in Scotland too, one of them looks like it's a Tory target. Kemi was up there personally, really pushing for it.

My son has decided 4am is his wake up time today.
Looks like Burnham absolutely smashed Makerfield, Reform/Restore combined was never catching him.
Conservatives also won big, taking Stephen Flynn's seat in Scotland. Probably a big shock to the SNP
Burnham wins by a 20% majority, polls massively underestimated the victory margin.

Great win for Andy, media clearly love him, they've not stopped going on about it. Thing is these are always the easy steps, as we saw with the collapse of the Tories, because if this goes tits up between now and the next election, it will probably wipe Labour completely out, because you know what that media are like, IF he does take over from Starmer and anything goes wrong, that same media will do an absolute hatchet job on him...but, but, you promised change Andy.
So we go from a socially uncomfortable guy to a charmer, and let's face it, that's all it is and all I've heard, I asked @Welshie for three things that AB would change, response was I'm not writing you a shopping list. Well sorry mate but I'd like to know the ingredients to this wonderful cake, afterall unlike many on here, I did actually vote Labour and maintain we should not change leadership once a PM is selected, whereas Welshie is nowt more than foreign interference from overseas ie Norway.
But you know what the lefties are like, all getting sucked in by this hysteria, then when it goes all completely wrong they will claim right-wing media! That's what amuses me, they are as bad as the people they complain about. Andy even had to get in senior economists, you will not hear them tell you this on the tv, because he potentially scared the **** out of the markets with careless words that he quickly rewound back on faster than an Uber taxi, so he had to do a Keir Starmer style u-turn before he's even got the job.
Oh well, at least Trump will love him, and I know how much you all adore Oranjeboom. I've warned you all, anyway where's @Tel (they/them) he'll tell you what Burnham is really like. Anyway I want opinion from some proper Northerners like @Saf - mate can you stop shagging for one moment please and consider your views on this matter.
