Speaking of people being thrown - has anyone seen this - it's horrible

I did a charity abseil off Tyne bridge a few years ago (more than a few thinking about it)
It was straight into open air, as opposed to down the tower.
As I leant back ready to push off the bloke suddenly went white and said ‘err let me pull you back in a minute’ and grabbed me.
He’d rove the ropes through the metal thingummy wrong!
In actual fact I would have been suspended and not gone down at all I think, but even so I slightly lost faith in him!!!
Still did it mind you. Better dead than embarrassed any day of the week <laugh>

Dog walkers who have no idea what their dog is doing! Instead of concentrating on their dog, they are listening to a podcast or fannying around on their phone oblivious to the world around them. If you're taking your dog for a walk, leave your phone alone - might do you good to be without it for half and hour!
Love this. Starts as a gripe against dog walkers, ends up slamming outdoor mobile phone use. Multi-tasking gear grinding!

Not a grind your gears as such more a shake of the head
Walking back to my car, St Luke’s St Porter St and a little lass walked by pushing a pram. Baby threw their dummy out so I picked it up and gave it back
Lass was polite etc but tatts on her neck, her back and one on her face
Looking at her not exactly wealthy and must live in that area which isn’t the best

And I thought why spend money on tatts when you’ve got **** all and a little kid to look after!!!
Strange society nowadays

I was in B and M today where toys r us used to be. As I was paying for my stuff the woman on the other till screamed 'she's running' and a tattooed lass ran out. I walked to my car and three male staff were watching her run across the A63 with cars beeping at her.

I said 'I'm going that way, I can pull up to her and restrain her if you call the police and send them that way'. They're response was 'don't bother mate, last time someone grabbed a lifter the police were more interested in him than the thief'.

Absolute joke that they can just do this knowing they will get away with it most of the time.

Random story but she was covered in tats and ran towards that estate so it might have been the same lass. If not at least I've shared another interesting story.
