To be fair I didn't suggest the bank holiday was declared due to their win over Haiti.
However it's interesting to note the holiday was declared after the fixtures were announced which raises the question would they have done the same if the first game was against Brazil?
Swinney decided this discriminatory embarrassment month's ago because Scotland qualified and he's got an absolute nerve doing it in the first place and secondly calling it a public bank holiday...250,000 people in Scotland who fitted the criteria got the Holiday today at an estimated cost of £64 million to Scottish tax payers.

G.P surgerys, some council workers(down to individual councils to approve or not),government workers(not HMRC as they're English employees) and all Scottish NHS employees got an extra day in the bank.

This in a Country that's falling to ****ing bits and has an ever increasing waiting list for hospital appointments and A&E waiting times of approaching 8 hours.

It was a publicity stunt and an attempt at gaining votes for his corrupt party but it looks like it will backfire on him because the majority of decent hardworking people went to work today as normal.

I hope the lad is coming to Texas to see England play at AT&T Dallas Stadium (stupid FIFA). NYC is a ****hole city and getting worse. DFW has its issues but he'll get a warm welcome here, and can have an enjoyable multicultural experience. Like this guy: https://x.com/FreddyLA7b

If you haven't been to a Buc-cees then you haven't really seen America.

(Edit: having difficulty with the Quote function; this message refers to the kid pointing tp the Hull City sticker in NYC)
