With Azaz, I don't think you can say his games under Still don't count but it's fair to point out that he didn't score or get an assist under Still so his scoring record while playing under Tonda is that much more impressive.
It's also not necessarily true that he plays in a role where he should be getting the second most goals. I'd say it's the wide attackers who should be doing that. If you look back at our most successful period from 2012 to 2016ish then our top scorers were strikers (Lambert, Pelle and Austin) and wide attackers (J-Rod, Mane and Redmond). The likes of Davis and Ramirez were a little way down the list. If anything it's Scienza and Matsuki/Fellows who aren't delivering as many goals as we need.
I don't see Azaz as a Premier League player and he definitely goes missing at times so there's no doubt we need another option to play in that position but in an ideal world we'd really be looking for more goals from wide areas.
