Long odds. Think of all that scar tissue.Wonder what odds you’d get on a Russell Martin led Leicester side getting to the PL before Saints do?
I would be surprised if Leicester get as far as the play-off positions. Whilst I can see that Martin would be a good fit, the challenges are too great.Wonder what odds you’d get on a Russell Martin led Leicester side getting to the PL before Saints do?
Martin will do well if they get players to suit his style, but their financial situation may make that very difficult. It'll be entertaining either way.I would be surprised if Leicester get as far as the play-off positions. Whilst I can see that Martin would be a good fit, the challenges are too great.
'Not perfect at Rangers' is certainly one way of putting it!Crook talking nonsense again.

I find the contrasting attitudes between two ex Saints managers on these threads fascinating.
You have Will Still, who lasted just 16 games in the Championship with a win % of 25.
And then we have Russell Martin who had a win % of 45.21 from 73 games and oversaw the longest unbeaten run in the club's history and is one of only four managers to win promotion to the top league (the other three are the popular Ted Bates, Lawrie Mac and Nigel Adkins).
Now I get that he may have said some things that rubbed up Saints fans the wrong way while under pressure in a difficult PL season that almost everyone was predicting that we would struggle in but the level of dislike towards him from Saints fans is almost on a par with 'Arry Redknapp!
I tend not to care about personalities too much and judge people on their service to the club, so I wish him well at Leicester.

There are rumours he might be taking Bazunu off our hands - we should all love him!I find the contrasting attitudes between two ex Saints managers on these threads fascinating.
