Just watched the USA game highlights - Balogun looks a real handful and took his chances really well - and THAT strike from Reyna! ... sublime.
Tidy finish for the 4th but awful defending, just stood off him and gave him all the time in the world.
Mate ... no amount of standing off would have facilitated one of my lot executing that strike currently
Probably a much different game if not for the rather unfortunate own goal opener ...
On another note, great to see a yellow card (and redact of one) for blatant simulation - actually appreciating some of these new initiatives - just need a pen given for ridiculous holding from set pieces now...
Yeah, was hoping Paraguay would do well.
I think the first game was spoilt with the three sending offs, was no need for it. Might as well bring in sin bins if they are going to do this nonsense, would make it more entertaining.
.. but it is on a Saturday... so will probably do this one ...
I just don't want to watch football at that time. There's a few decent games coming up though at decent times.
