That's a weird one mind. I know they fell through the hole like a drunken blind man, but still seems weird to me.

I thought they'd hired him to get them back up!
cant find anything concrete buta rumour doing the rounds..

very odd

Odd to say the least.
He left Boro to move to his 'old' Club, when Boro were flying and Wolves were already looking dead and buried.
I imagine that he is regretting that now.

It will be interesting to see how Wolves do next Season. There are a few examples of late, including SAFC, of Clubs sliding down to League 1, and getting rid of a good Manager is a good way get on to that slide.

I don't see Edwards being unemployed for long although, looking at the stats, he does seem to have a habit of not staying long, (except for his spell at Luton).

Something has definitely gone on behind the scenes I reckon. According to Sky Gil Vicente coach Cesar Peixoto is set to replace Edwards.

That's absolutely bonkers. In the blink of an eye they've gone from one of the favourites to go up to total unknowns.

Presumably, the bloke who sanctioned the £4m pay off to Boro, the lucrative contract award to Edwards, the signings to Edwards' taste and then Edwards' sacking, will follow him out of the door!

Or, does Jorge Mendes make that decision too?

So Rob was only told of his sacking when he rang someone at the club, after a family member saw a post saying he was sacked and was being replaced
I think he had another three years on his deal. He won't get all of that, they never do, but Wolves aren't run very well at all, so he could be in for a very big lump.

Will the doba Leicester/Luton/Sunderland/Wolves and have a double dip relegation?

*Wolves did a double relegation in 2011/12 & 2012/13 seasons, the first club to do it twice.

Not a manager, but I see that Boro’s DoF, Kieran Scott, is being heavily linked with going to Birmingham.

Wonder if there’s a chance that they go for Speakman if that did happen. They could do a lot worse.

I'll put this in here

@WestHam_Central
There has been secrecy about the new Sporting Director.

Candidates include:

Paul Mitchell (Monaco/Newcastle)
Kristjaan Speakman (Sunderland)
Steve Brown (Man U/Everton)
Kieran Scott (Boro)
Kevin Thelwell (Wolves/Everton)

James Ayto (BHA) ambitious + unlikely.
