Listening to 5 live and a guy from London going to the World Cup has had his visa refused on the grounds that he went to Cuba as part of a cruise last year. Already booked flights, accommodation and has two tickets he is now trying to off load.

You went to Cancun didn’t you??Been Mexico 5 times, not getting the sh1thole bit tbf, granted it was in tourist areas. Wherever you go in the world there's 'sh1tholes', just as bad here at times in the UK. But they don't have a president thats a complete cockwomble and lives off his ego.
Whats the jistWatching the bbc documentary on the England squad at the 2006 world cup
What an absolute cock beckham was
And stil is Tbf
Riviera Maya, ,Tulum, Cozumel, Puerta Valarta, actually, and yes with the Mayan influences there they are !!!You went to Cancun didn’t you??
Really representative of México that
That's sad. I heard a story of someone who had been to Cuba, previously. He contacted the US Embassy, got invited to attend a five minute interview. Went down to London, spoke to the official. He got the okay to go to the World Cup.Listening to 5 live and a guy from London going to the World Cup has had his visa refused on the grounds that he went to Cuba as part of a cruise last year. Having to do that is not exactly a secret. That's sad. I heard a story of someone who had been to Cuba, previously. He contacted the US Embassy, got invited to attend a five minute interview. Went down to London, spoke to the official. He got the okay to go to the World Cup.
you did a tiny bit of research when you're spending thousands of poundsHaving to do that is not exactly a secret.
I was toying with Cuba this year and knew if we had then I’d need to do the same to travel to the States which was already booked.
Pain in the arse but well known
I thought tourist travel to Cuba was a definite no-no because the country is literally on the bones of its arse. The tourism industry has collapsed much the rest of the country. Shame really.Having to do that is not exactly a secret.

You can still go and when I was looking it was before the US decided to blockade them and try and starve them out of communism (which is a war crime btw)I thought tourist travel to Cuba was a definite no-no because the country is literally on the bones of its arse. The tourism industry has collapsed much like most of the country.
My uncle and aunt who live in Niagara, Ontario, Canada, used to go every other winter for 4 weeks. Said it was a okay around the tourist parts, but not much else going for it. Havana was a bit of a ****hole, even then. You can still go and when I was looking it was before the US decided to blockade them and try and starve them out of communism (which is a war crime btw)
Main reason I didn’t was an absence of vegan food options tbh
My daughter was there last year, spent some time in the tourist bit and said it was ok. Havana she felt sad about. Dirty, litter and obvious poverty everywhere, people fine and doing what they can though.I thought tourist travel to Cuba was a definite no-no because the country is literally on the bones of its arse. Oh Balkan has addressed it
Been Cuba a couple of times, and yes if you've been you have to seek a special visa to allow entry to the States but thats been ongoing for many a year. Cuba is on the bones of its arse but it still welcomes travellers from all over the world, just not the states (Cuban missile crisis and all that), Havannah is a hell of a place so diverse, people on the bones of their arses yet walking round with the latest phones. Stayed at Varadero which isn't too far from Havanna second time, first time was Holguin. Deffo worth a visit but be prepared to be shocked at the poverty outside the tourist belts.I thought tourist travel to Cuba was a definite no-no because the country is literally on the bones of its arse.
