The fact that you think people who work in our hospitals, transport system, hospitality etc are terrorists, murders and rapists kind of illustrates the point I'm making
As Libby pointed out, most arrests doesn't always equate to most crime
There are well documented reasons why ethnic minorities are over represented in crime stats, which I'm sure you're aware of.
Easy to pull out raw figures and make conclusions that don't always show the full picture
Not saying you're doing this btw.
I've always just presumed it's because they live in the ****tier poorer parts of London were petty crime is more common.
Then there's the question as to why you would try and find a job when you can just sell a bit of weed and make more

Because some people want to polarise debates, and think that because you highlight where race and ethnicity is used as a divisive tool by those who want to use it for their own ends, that you don't see that immigration is also problematic.
As always, it's not a black and white argument (see what I did there...)
But like you I agree, I see the problems that come with immigration as a symptom rather than a cause of the problems in society.
We have poverty in the UK because of a low wage economy and a massive inequality of distribution of wealth. And ethnic minorities are over represented in the low wage, social housing sector due to not being afforded the same opportunities to those with wealth.
We don't have poverty in the UK because brown people are driving down wages, taking up housing etc. We have poverty because it's driven by wealthy people wanting to amass more and more for themselves.

Judicial processes treating people of colour more harshly
