Spunked millions on a scattergun approach over a couple of years; resulting in a few gems and a bucketful of ****e.

Missed a couple of installment payments.

Given a season's transfer embargo.

Signed a clutch of inspired free transfers (and a teacup full of ****e).

Got to the playoffs.

Won the semi and the final without a) losing a game and b) getting either kicked out or reinstated.

And the cheating claim is what, exactly?

Stuff like this appears on Newsnow popping up on various nomark clubs' local media- but I've seen comments on other forums too

Wouldn’t be rushing to sell Kamara, loan him to a decent champ side and hope he gets his confidence back. With his age and position that would make him £5m plus in a year
I agree but isn't he one of the few we could get a fee for/and we need to sell?

Considering what we paid - not really as we’d need to be turning a profit no?

Would be selling all the fringe before Kamara.

Palmer, Omur, Famewo, Drameh, Dowell, Burstow, Cartwright, maybe TLT but wouldn’t rush on that one either

Player in his situation is better to be sold with a nice sell on. Fresh start for him somewhere he’s owned loans have a much bigger failure rate than success. Would have kept him if we were in the champ next season but might as well let him move on now. Don’t think you can read to much into this season he was pushed out the door into a foreign country and spent most the season injured. He’s still very young and was good for us last season and great for Portsmouth the season before, he’ll have plenty of interest.

It's patently obvious what fees we'll rake in for our transferred players, 'undisclosed fees'. :emoticon-0138-think

It's our time.

I really don’t understand all the secrecy around transfer fees. The football league/premier league know exactly how much each players costs, the selling club knows, the player knows, his agent knows and therefore anyone who might ever be interested in buying them will also know.

We all knew we would have to sell at the end of the season - and consensus was that Hughes would be off to the PL in the summer for an 8 figure fee.

But, what I don't understand is why we to be so publicly open about needing to sell by the end of the month - surely can't help negotiation to a favourable price.

Plus this has been amplified across other clubs - encouraging bitter ****s to complain that we've cheated etc.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Unless I’m wrong and clubs can work it out somehow, I don’t see the benefit of publicising it.

We need someone to step in if/when Ollie gets injured. I'd rather have a proven goal scoring option from the bench than not
But not our marquee signing for the summer. If we’re taking these numbers, I want him to ply every week

Homophobic, a drunk at the end, huge ego, obnoxious, but at the same time sent his Derby team on to the picket lines to show solidarity and many he came into contact with spoke of him highly... Always hard to view looking back through the prism of progress.
I had a relative who lived just round the corner from him, she didn’t speak highly of him and i don’t think her neighbours did either.

And it would stop everyone on here saying it’s a waste of money

Can't see us off-loading Joseph yet, he wouldn't pass a medical with his ankle injury. He was on crutches at Wembley.

Have Luton got the funds to purchase Palmer? Omur hasn't had a great season in Turkiye's Super Lig, Kamara was a bench warmer for most of the season in Spain. Burstow has had a decent season in League 1, 53 games, 12 goals and 5 assists - has he found his level?
Hope not, they were promoted

I don't doubt it, mate. But then when you read what Craig Bromfield (had to Google his name as forgot) writes about him, he clearly had a very kind side...
