Didn't realise we've got a second link to Scotlands World Cup Squad as well as Dykes.

Our ex-keeper Liam Kelly is keeping another the bench warm tonight.

Any more ex-players I need to look out for (as well as Eze)?

Obviously diddles won't be going to a game

Pre-tax

Though seeing England fans online pleasantly surprised at the prices in the bars if you know where to go.

A frozen daiquiri at football sounds great though. A meal deal with a Pukka pie at Loftus Road for the lady fans.

Off to Vancouver tomorrow. Last night on StubHub I bought an extra ticket for my partner for the Australia vs Turkey match Saturday June 13th at BC Place in Block 428, Row XX (C$372), already have 2 seats for my friend of 50 years, Mario, and myself in same Block Row TT. Sunday June 21st we also have 3 seats for the New Zealand vs Egypt match where we will see star strikers Chris Wood (NZ) and Mohammed Salah (Egypt) in action battling. We return home June 24th.

As much as we are all excited for the World Cup there is a real dark side to this one that just leaves a bad taste in the mouth and completely goes against everything the tournament has always meant to the world
There was always a concern that the USA were going to ruin it for everyone - and those fears are becoming a reality quite quickly

The World Cup has always been about the world coming together, nations have literally halted wars in the past during the World Cup. Race, religion, political beliefs and national disputes put to one side for the world to enjoy its favourite obsession as one… but all of that now seems to be expendable in the name of keeping Trump happy

Just all quite sad to see really

Contrast that to a real footballing country like Mexico who have put on a big show of greeting all team arrivals with traditional music and the kind of fanfare the World Cup is known and loved for

Infantino is so far up Trump's arse there's no chance of it getting better. They're two of a kind, a strange megalomaniac's bromance...

There goes my visa...

I've said in a previous post that this World Cup is the perfect platform for any real terrorist activity. So it looks like the authorities are *rapping themselves carrying on with this behaviour.
Normally hosting such an event can be a draw for others to visit and I hope Canada and Mexico benefit from it, but I can't many sane people wanting to travel to the U.S. while orange man is in charge!

My TV just told me that it was going to go to sleep. Understandable.
Why put it through that misery? The problem with international friendlies and indeed any game up the last league game (where qualification to progress to the knock out stage is at stake) is that nobody participating can be bothered. The stadiums in Mexico will be empty except for those associated with the cartels and the financial sector who fund their business and then launder their profits.

I hope Sky have been well and truly fleeced. The exploitation, corruption and sycophancy on display so far has dampened my enthusiasm to watch anything more than the actual 90 minutes that England, and possibly Scotland, play each match this time around

So far I've been watching Yellowstone on Netflix which is far more interesting.

England looking pretty decent tonight.
Been a while since I’ve bothered to watch an England game.
I thought Eze had a good 30 mins. His quick take and pass was really evident versus other England players receiving the ball, pausing and passing. Made such a difference to creating pressure.
Rice was very good.
I don’t get all the talk of Bellingham, good player but he was very ‘meh’ for me last night. Madueke looked good but needed to get to the byline a bit and provide more end product.
Overall good team performance and result as a warm up.
