Charles has 1 year left and we have a 1 year extension option, so he effectively has 2 years remaining.

I can see us selling Charles for £20m/£25m this summer, then telling Jander he can go next year if we don't get promoted.

If we do plan on keeping one of them, then thats the best way to maximise sale value.
Yeah this seem prudent, we'd get - considerably - more for Charles than Jander at present, considering the markets they're respectively attracting. Established PL clubs (Man Utd, Everton) are rumoured looking at Shea. Also West Ham will be looking at him.

Exactly that. Only a select few German clubs would ever spend £20m on a player, and that isn't going to be someone from the Championship.

Can see Wet Spam getting a bit silly with cashola…. Despite them being less than financially stable, big turnover of players probably expected as well as demanding £80 million ish for Fernandes means they’ll have a loooot of fans who need placating…. And let’s face it, they have form with being a bit ridiculous financially….

I assume this isn’t the attacking signing Solak was talking about. Since that was for the central position. But we have Fellows and Matsuki playing on the right at the moment. Expect this guy is more of a Fellows type winger ?

Doesn’t really seem like a priority position

How much precedent is there for a newly relegated side to go after the best players from their promotion rivals (especially one that still has parachute payments). And for the players to make that step? I’m not sure why Jander would go there. If he leaves it will be either to go back to Germany due to homesickness (and it’s not outside the realms of possibility Dortmund pay what we want. They have been linked in the past and have paid big money for players from the championship before) or to step up to the premier league.
