Could backfire on him, with his injury history he could easily get something in the WC that takes him out for months and with no club to support.

The expulsion from the playoff final messed our requirement to activate the 1 year clause in his deal as it had to be done 5 days after the final game of the season.
He now wants 2 years. I think he is out of order taking advantage of a ****ty situation considering all we did for him.

I don't think he's being a dick or taking the piss tbh, it's just negotiation. He's heading towards 30 and this is his last 'big' contract so he needs to get it right and guard against the worst case scenarios
