Larin:

“For the team, we know the talent we have, we know the guys we have and I think to put [a run of form] together like that is very hard in football and we did that, and a lot of guys believe we can do it again.

“It doesn't matter where we start, I think we will be right back up there at the top and show everyone it wasn't just a fluke. I think we have the guys on the team to do it and the fans to do it, and I think you don't get that a lot and I want to feel that again.”

Good news, although I'm definitely more cautious on this one than Peretz. We've had a few strikers who've done well for a while then tailed off. I hope it doesn't happen again.

I was a bit concerned about that with Larin but it being a 2yr deal helps massively. If he has a poor season then he's off the books 12 months later

Is the third kit in the video pending a third signing?
I did wonder that but my realistic expectation is that it was to get a front shot of the main shirt and most importantly the sponsor

(Partially related but it’s always been my conspiracy theory that a yellow card for taking your shirt off comes from sponsors)

I expect these were done quickly because they were here and on loan and had options that made fee negotiations quick. We aren’t making any of those other loans permanent and surely spygate would have made negotiations for someone brand new a little tricky until we release our statement

I wonder if there is an accounting advantage as well of getting Larin and Peretz signed before the league season officially ends and the transfer window opens on June 15, what with league member AGMs and all of that business still to come as well

I’d assume almost certainly? It’s not clear whether new squad rules come in on 15 June or in July.

Have any of the other championship clubs been doing anything

Wonder if the YouTubers will do a video on this. More just because all the comments will be quite amusing

He is a type of forward we have missed for more than a few seasons as many on here has said way before me - but not only that not many teams like forwards like this anymore and he has proved play him correctly and he makes a difference - get some different style forwards in there and we are going to be the team.

I'm sure the club are doing this on purpose as a message to fans and fair play to them, you can yabber away about all sorts of things or you can sign on players the fans really like and who pontificate about the whole club - excellent.

I bet there's a few fans who were upset and were thinking of not going anymore - and I understand that even if I don't 100% agree - who are having their heads turned - and that is good work by the club.

Sign on a couple of new 'impressive' players that make our mouths drop open and this could be the 'season'.

Frankly it would be a 'season' that you lot - who go to games all over the country, have seen some proper sh**e over the years, follow the club through thick and thin, get abuse for being 'average' and now 'cheats', bloody well deserve.
