Just think he's a money man, rather than a worker, the sort who might disturb our changing room. I've no info,my opinion only.
Ah, fair call mate.

There’s doubts over whether Abraham would give us value for money as well so it’s probably a non-starter.

Looks like someone who has moved to get games and risked going overseas rather than sit earning a ****load to me looking at his career and playing seems to be the motivation for moving on from Villa if the rumours are true. 1/3 career average, experienced and homegrown so some definite positives.

I've specifically watched Amad, over the last month, and have to say I'm not convinced he's right for us now.

He's seriously talented but his decisions, in the final third and penalty area, don't seem decisive for someone who's had plenty of game time. He'd be a very expensive mistake to make and we'd be expecting him to start most games.

I have the feeling we could buy someone as good, from abroad, for much less money.
Completely agree with all of this. Although think RLB could work magic with him, but, for the money, absolutely would think there will be as good elsewhere

I DO trust the recruitment team but this looks like a very strange one for me. Yes, he has experience, and we could do with a player who is just cover for xhaka and can help in europe. But that would make sense if it's free and on a cut pay.

But to give him £95k a week, considering he's declining every year with increased injury problems. Seems a really strange move if this info is true

Fear not man. Our recruitment team have shown over the last 12 months, and before, they know what they're doing. I'm trusting them 100%......I know there'll be a bollock or two along the way.....but,overall,they'll get it right.

I trust the club with this one they've earned it. He's likely to only be a back up and we run a tight ship so I'd be surprised if wages details etc. are being leaked - unless it's from the players side and they're trying to force another interested club to up their offer, in which case I'd take the numbers with a pinch of salt.

I know. I just think this one might be this season's masuaku signing haha
