Wasn't helped by our driver driving on the wrong side of that road next to the Lidl and McDonald's on Wembley way though.
We stayed at Wellspring Crescent, an eight minute walk to Wembley Park tube station. The roads around the area are a disgrace, more holes than Blackburn, and Titanic's paint is fresher than their road markings.

Missed 2 Royal Mail deliveries on Saturday ive just found the cards for, normally under the system that was used up until this week i would of being able to rearrange delivery of both items using the Royal Mail website in under 5 minutes.
Now everything is bar coded and your prompted to download the app...of course the stupid app doesn't work it won't even accept a hotmail email address, 40 minutes in and ive managed to rearrange 1 item using a back up email address but zero luck on the other item so that will end up returned to sender.
The fact some ****er has being paid well for this Royal Mail change that doesn't work beggers belief.
Why is everything digital being made harder, it was supposed to simplify our lives and make things easier but it's having the exact opposite effect.

Went all the way to tower st once and it’s never ****ing open anymore
Got a card today , it has a QR Code and a number
I haven't got the app , just went to the website and entered the number and postcode
and requested redelivery on Thursday rather than tomorrow
Normally they should re-attempt delivery next working day , so today

putting this here today instead of on the fnmt thread, which is about songs that are about music.
there are some phrases that bring out my not-so-latent inner psychopath. one is "thought experiment". another is "singer-songwriter". this rant is about the latter.
a couple of things. i hate it when the lyrics of a song go on and on and on with a deluge of "song" related words, all sing-singy-song-song. it's not clever and it's certainly not interesting.
but "singer-songwriter" is usually applied to possibly the dullest ever selection of alleged artists in the entire history of music, people whose earnestness and claimed worthiness and moral grandstanding makes me consider a future as a serial killer. but possibly the biggest crime they commit is in their abysmal and painful attempts to inject humour into their interminable dirges.
terry wogan's favourite song was by someone called clifford t ward. it's like having a dentist drill your teeth for what feels like hours and hours. james taylor is another perpetrator. and the very idea that some dullard noodling away on an acoustic guitar can produce something "beautiful"... no, no, no, no.

Soccer Aid and that annoying Dermot O'Dreary hogging the mic, shouting, screaming, and pulling stupid faces whilst still managing to say sod all interesting. Stick that mic up your ****ing arse Dermot. You might be a bit more entertaining then.
Liked the format of Soccer Aid when it was first introduced but it has now become a bandwagon for every two bit wannabbee celebrity who would sell their grandmother to a pimp if it got them another two minutes on the telly.
Expecting that self promoting twat Simon Cowell to run on any minute now with his latest new face lift, sun glasses, and accountant.
Today they are raising money for Moldova.
