West Ham are bigger than 2/1. Probably best to get your bets on now :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Oliver Glasner gave permission for his Crystal Palace squad to enjoy themselves out in Florence last night, after the Eagles secured a place in the club's first ever European semi-final

The celebrations took place just three days before Palace are set to face 17th placed West Ham in the Premier League.

While the West Ham clash is of less consequence for Glasner and Palace, who are now 12 points clear of the relegation zone, it's of vital importance to Tottenham Hotspur, who need the Irons to drop points if they themselves are to escape the threat of demotion to the Championship.

I had us + 32 handicap but apparently I misunderstood the bet as a handicap applies to all teams not just us so bookie only paid out each way

Yes disappointing Marv... I had a few bets that made up £56 at 20/1 and one of them had a 25% bet bonus. I presuming Millwall won it by a point or so..

Absolute disaster at Chester
Watered the track and only run once race
Jockeys don’t look like they wanna race
Dangerous on the bends

This could have gone in Any other football news, Now for something completely different, but decided as it is racing related, stick it here.

Anybody contemplating a wee flutter on the Derby this afternoon may spare a thought for the guy, as the headline says, has splurged 24million quid on the job.

All that money gone out of football. Or put another way, a years wages for Haaland. I'll stop this becoming a rambling rant and wrap it up.
Yes, the win at Wembley was fookin awesome. But now I am worried.

I wonder of the Jockey Club and ITV have a problem...

Yesterday Day 4 of Royal Ascot and a free to enter ITV 7 of £400,000. 3 tickets went into the last leg. One was on a horse called Sandals Song a 40/1 chance. As it happened it finished second. Tough luck to the punter you might think, but theres more.

The winner of the race an Amerccian horse called Bacio with an American Jockey. In racing, after. race the jockey has to weigh in, this coming after weighing out. The winning jockey weighed in 2lbs light which should be an automatic disqualification. BUT NOP, the powers that be decided that they would give the winning connections the benefit of the doubt and found a piece of equipment he should have had when weighing in that had been discarded.

If I was the punter I'd be all over this like a rash...

BTW the Clerk of the Course wants ****ing... at perhaps the biggest ace meeting in the world he can create a level playing field...

Never knew about this one? As you say,it's automatic disqualification as the horse has ran at an unfair advantage?

I've had it a couple of times over the last couple of seasons, bookies settled the bet on both then removed the funds from my account once the stewards had finished carrying out the enquiry ...This is just wrong on a major scale!!!

Edit.

Having just read it,I see what they've done here but it makes no difference as he's weighed in light.

I had something similar in a hurdle race at Carlisle(think it was last season, possibly the one before) and Brian Hughes weighed in light(7lbs from memory). The stable claimed a lead had fell out of the saddle on the way back in after the race and eventually found it but the stewards upheld their decision ...
