We can’t make someone come to the club, if they’ve better options obviously they’re going to take them. We can’t be arrogant about these things, we’re a mid table championship club, end of. Scubula seems a pretty decent option. It’s frustrating it’s taking so long, that’s more my concern considering the amount of business we need to do this summer.

He did very well with Lincoln.
But…
Cotts did very well at L1.
Delboy did very well in Scotland.
Manning did well at L1. Got us to the playoffs largely due to Hogg. Then crashed and burned at Norwich then Huddersfield.

….. and in the meantime we are still treading water - selling any player who shows a bit of class.

Time will tell.

Maybe.
He didn’t set the world alight at Forest or Birmingham - and he doesn’t seem to be getting snapped up by any club at Championship level or above.
He certainly set OUR world alight in our promotion season - and I’ll always love him for that - but that was L1.
We’ll never know what he might have achieved. It’s not possible to argue either way.

I could be the best chief exec of a bank ever - if someone would give me the chance….
