We should have jettisoned Howe and got Alonso in. Nobody leaves then as he'd want time to look at everybody. Certain players might possibly not want to move and we all move on. Looks like we're gonna be in for summer of misery (don't think the world cup will provide much of a distraction) and next season is probably gonna be even worse than the one that we've just finished. What a time to be alive.

I think Gordon has been a good player for us, but his consistency means that selling for that price is essentially a no brainer.

Plus his hair is unforgiveable.

Apparently it's €80m up front with two add ons, €5m if he plays in 60% of games and €5m if Barcelona win a trophy. There's also a % of future transfer. So potentially just shy of £80m
