Sounds like you might be the first not606er to get it!
Ooh - what do I win? :)

Yeah it was just saying that the refund request from SFC was successful and it would land in about 4-5 days. It was worded as if I had applied for a refund which of course I hadn't. I'll let you know what happens.

To make it more fun - take a shot of whiskey every time you nab something from the brundle bingo card (murray walker's were better but I'm biased as he was what I got into F1 listening too)
Murray was brilliant .

Have you ever read the book - Murray Walker Incredible !

It was written by Maurice Hamilton after Walkers death .

Highly recommend it .

I have been having a few thoughts (makes my brain hurt in this heat!) about the EFL allowing tickets to be sold to 37,000 people, fully aware that they were never going to able to use them, then punishing them, when not one of them had been guilty of any form of bad sportsmanship. It is either a confidence trick or a catastrophic mistake of major proportion and I haven't seen a formal apology for the distress that they caused, nor a detailed explanation of why they did it? There doesn't seem to be any reparation or anyone making an effort to fight back, just taking it on the chin and moving on as if it never happened. The argument that "you done the crime you pay the price", doesn't hack it because none of the 37.000 did anything wrong at all, guilty by association at worse.

A bit difficult to be kicked out with all the tickets sold but I think that should have been the punishment. It will be a fine but it needs to be commensurate with the infringement. Whoever sanctioned this also needs to be banned from football.

It does not matter that he had a bloke on the hill with binoculars. It is the principle that matters.
Careful wot u wish 4..... far more pain to come down the travelling crew of SAINTS fans, me thinks

Imagine the turmoil had the appeal gone our way, what effect would that have had on the EFL? They had dug themselves in to a hole that they may never have recovered from. There was never a chance of the appeal being given in our favour, we were guilty and we were expendable.

Is it not turmoil!! [in bold print; with exclamation marks too!] that somebody can found guilty, and punitively charged with breaking a 'non-existent' competition rule; then judged by a trio that patently were found NOT TO BE FULLY QUALIFIED/INDEPENDENT
