Having witnessed the improvement and obvious dressing room spirit he’s basically chiselled out of stone, it could be interesting to see what Serg could potentially create should The Big Turk allow him to simply get on with it. The gulf may be huge,but whilst finances are import a few astute additions ( similar to Sun’land) City might just avoid a quick return to the Championship and potentially join a few clubs quietly holding there own in the Premiership.

Realistically, if we want someone that is in demand with other PL clubs, we're likely the least desirable option, so it comes down to 2 things - money and salesmanship. Hopefully the latter more than the former.

Mikey Moore's future hinged on whether or not Tottenham were relegated.If they went down they'd have played him in the Championship but as they survived I'm led to believe he'll be back at Ibrox next season on loan.
Cracking player and he absolutely loved it at Rangers this season so if he's loaned out again he'll come up here...

Personally I'd extend him, we're more likely to go down than stay up and he's a great champ option. With Koumas likely to go back to Liverpool we already need to sign a lw, if rather we put money into one great option than needing to find 2
I agree Ev'... I said last night, unfortunately sentimentality cant enter into it. Sunderland probably shifted three quarters of the squad to make way for what they brough in... but from not being a great fan I think Jospeh deserves a place and has improved as the season has gone on..
Just think which championship teams want a pop at promotion and think who of our players could help that.

All the strikers mentioned are similar too McBurnie. Although the way Ollie and Hughsie are going I can’t see them been fit for August.

We’ll probably let Palmer go for free, isn’t he one of the higher earners? Dowell, Gyabi & Famewo won’t go for much either but we should get a decent fee on Burstow.
