Once the supporters accept that the entire blame lies with the club, whoever initiated this, the quicker they’ll get their heads round it all …

… no one but Southampton were involved.

I’m surprised Cleveland Police haven’t asked the trespasser to attend an interview. Filming, on private property, is quite a serious matter and the footage/data should be seized in case anything further emerges.

There are private areas in the changing rooms, massage areas, etc as well as at the golf club where ‘the spy’ changed clothes. If a children's team or women were present at either place there’s another potential offence.

The repercussions could actually cripple the club.
The repercussions could include Playing and other staff claiming Constructive Dismissal! i.e. resigning, claiming compensation and being free to sign for other Clubs without Transfer Fees being involved. Should this involve a significant number of senior players Southampton AFC might struggle to fulfill fixtures-who would want to sign for such an Organisation? The trapdoor to major repurcussions has been opened and it might well lead to the demise of that Club.

Will be interesting to see what punishment the manager gets now that the FA are investigating, along with everyone else who obviously knew.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a massive pay off to keep his trap shut, whether he will agree to that however is another issue. But based on the fact he appears to have been happy to cheat I think he would probably take the cash.

If you can find away to watch South Today news….

ITS GOLD

Most saying it’s unfair
It’s harsh
The punishment is cruel
Seems like a lot of ****housery was going on there.
The funniest part was that they interviewed an Arsenal and a West Ham fan in Southampton and the expert was from Portsmouth University <laugh>
They went to the Cryshop and also remind me never to get a coffee in the Legends cafe - was she a barista or a bricklayer?

They thought they would get the same fine leeds got,
but didnt realise that a new law had been put into place because of the Leeds thing

to bring what Chelsea have done as a reason to appeal is stupid as its not the same thing

they paid agents not spied

players have apparently all gotten together to say they want Tonda out and all lost respect for him.

think the next few days will be telling
I'm sure hell be gone anyway. And that is probably enough, unless there are people higher up in the club who knew what was happening.

The EFL finding a backbone has shook them and surprised most others. Maybe there are other unproven instances, which the FA investigation will find proof of.

If so, further punishments should be on the club, as the coach getting the sack is probably sufficient. A witch hunt isn't necessary IMO.

some fans are still saying they have done nowt wrong and its highly unfair, using City and Chelsea to help their cases ( which is completely different)

the person that did this is apparently no longer at the club,

its just who else at the club other than Tonda knew

Well the person who did it, the young intern, has been badly let down by his superiors.

No chance he just takes off and does this stuff on his own account. He was asked/told to do it, and there are people hiding behind him.

The coach will obviously have to go: if he's not up on what his staff are doing he's useless, and if he is, he's unfit to be doing the job. There may be other guilty people, but if there is one person who should get some leeway, it's the young lad.
