Not sure where to put this, but just seen along with him leaving, pep has spent just over 2.2 billion pounds in 10 years.

That's an average of 220 million a season.

That is an absolute incredible amount of money

Arteta 1.1 billion in 6 years mind you.

Klopp 800 million in 9

Source is a quick Google search. Please don't come at me with a calculator.
Maybe he knows something about the 115 charges and doesn’t want to be around for the verdict

Trossard should have been in the book in the first half as well.......ref 'had a word' instead

Saka also lucky not to be sent off. Already on a yellow card, dived and faked a head injury when wasn’t touched and then from Burnley free kick picked the ball up and kicked it over everyone’s head away from where free kick was due to be taken from.

I'm seeing conflicting information about whether Palace get an extra £10mil from the Eze deal if Arsenal win the league

I'd like to think it's not true because surely that has the same integrity argument as allowing a loan player to play against their parent club, which isn't allowed.

Not that it really matters as Palace have other priorities anyway.

Looks alright. No idea why the keeper one looks like it’s two different tops stitched together though. Changes colour 3/4 of the way down

The thing about this, is Middlesbrough lost on the pitch. The first leg Southampton didn’t even have a shot on target and in the second leg Middlesbrough scored first. Middlesbrough lost because they didn’t take their chances over the 2 legs , not because of this spying debacle. Middlesbrough don’t deserve to be in the play off final irrespective of today’s judgement

And I’m certainly no Southampton fan either, just for the team that won on the pitch fairly to get to the play off final…. :bandit:

That’s a big punishment. I’m sure saints will appeal so no idea how they get this sorted before the final this weekend.

Team suspected of spying on training sessions - EFL conducts an investigation within a week and kicks the team out of a competition immediately

115 financial charges - PL will get back to you on that in a few years

Not really much to investigate is there. Brought saints into a meeting they admitted to that and 2 other instances.

People comparing these things to city case is just stupid.

Like saying why does a fraud case go on for months in court but a parking fine is paid instantly. Because the complexity of things mean some things take far longer.

Yeah, I have family in 'Boro and was up there at the weekend. I said just that to my son-in-law's mates who were around, but, for some reason, they all seemed confident that Soton were bang-to-rights. I was equally confident that with all the money involved, there was no way that the EFL would actually kick Soton out.

But, perhaps tellingly, Sky were saying that all tickets sold so far were under the explicit understanding that the game was under review, so no comeback on hotels, trains, etc that have been booked. The EFL is obviously a different gravy from the Prem, and don't seem as scared of Soton's lawyers as the Prem are of City's, nonetheless, I'd be staggered if they're not reinstated and receive a bigger fine and points reduction for next season. Mind you, I was confident they wouldn't do this in the first place, so wtf do I know? :emoticon-0114-dull:

Bournemouth 1-0
Means we have to win v Brentford otherwise any other result leaves chance for Bournemouth to go above us.

This team going to implode and somehow finish 6th..
