I’m just glad it’s only me and my old man going this time. Already sorted the tickets (I paid) and he paid for the coach tickets (similar prices to tickets).

Last time in 2016, one of my dad’s mates wanted to go and he’s notoriously flaky. He ended up going with us but getting three tickets next to each other was a pain in the arse and we were up in the gods.
Id never buy tickets up there. I sat there once with GB U21s when we had played in london the day beforeand got free challenge cup tickets. It was terrible viewing from that tier.

A useless piece of trivia, and I know you won't care <laugh>, but, back in the olden days of two points for a win and goal average (I know there weren't play offs in those days)......
You would have missed out on the play offs to Wrexham by 0.0009 goal average.

Just saying.....

Anyway, I, along with Pompey fans everywhere, will be a surrogate Tiger on the day, so good luck against the cheating scammers :emoticon-0140-rofl:
Thanks .
My uncle was a Pompey season ticket holder for years so I always hoped they'd do well .
I used to go to the odd game with him and he would go to the odd City game

I've got a ticket in 503,front row seat.

Had a cataract done in my right eye years ago and my vision is superb.

(Ric,man with a monocle on his left eye,Glasgow). <doh>

Yesterday I visited my stepdad who’s in castle hill. Just after 7pm I stopped at the BP petrol station in cottingham to pick up my euro lottery tickets. I turned and there was Gillo stood next to me at the till. I said good luck for a week on Saturday or whenever they decide to play the game. Oh and by the way you lads ruined my darts last Monday, I kept looking at the screen as I was throwing, all the commotion unsettled me. We both laughed and I left, he’s actually taller than I thought from off the telly. I didn’t tell him about the last time I met a city player in a petrol station, it was David Rowcastle and that didn’t end well poor lad. The slight delay in talking to him and getting my tickets could be the difference between winning or getting ****all on the lottery. Seems a nice lad mind. A day in the life of Norm…you never know what’s around the corner… probably another corner lol.

Why did Southampton feel the need to send spies anyway? It's not like they haven't got a decent squad and had no chance of winning without doing that, makes me wonder if the financial side of their club is a bit ****ed and this was an "at all costs" move?
Our owner is not short of a few quid. "Dragan Šolak, the Serbian founder of United Group and majority owner of Sport Republic (controlling entity of Southampton FC), has an estimated net worth of over €1.7 billion (approx. £1.24–£1.4 billion) as of late 2024–2025. He is widely recognized as one of the richest individuals in Serbia, with fortune built through telecommunications, media, and investment."

Will this match even take place this week.

Seems unfair this whole mess seemingly caused by Southampton FC cant help your preparation.

Hopefully for you this is sorted. If Southampton have cheated then they need to be kicked out on Tuesday.

If they haven't they should sue Boro.

Ive been high up at Wembley and actually liked the view. Got some corporate tickets for the sheff utd game down the side and was low/shallow...thought they were ****.
Wembley memories:
I've been on the highest seat behind the goal, half way up on the side, in front of the journalists on the side and in the Club Wembley seats. All fantastic views. Friends of mine have been sat in front row seats on the side - I wouldnt fancy them. I've even been in the "hanging from the roof seats" at the old Wembley. I've been sat on the benches low down at the old Wembley. If the play went to the other end at the same side everybody jumped up to see. I've sat near Dennis Waterman and Bobby Moore (different matches). I also was in the Royal Box when Scarborough played at Wembley. I was sat next to the wife of the star striker who also played a league match a few days later, got kicked on the head and died.

I was going to watch Liverpool v Wimbledon on TV. I thought: "Why not see it at the stadium?". I went to Wembley, got a ticket from a tout. Was standing with Liverpool fans and saw Wimbledon win 1-0.

Aah the Itchen bridge, the obelisk pub was my local when I lived down there for a little while years ago.

I'm trying to cover every possible problem. I asked one friend what his date of birth was. He told me he'd used a birth date in his 40s although I know he's in his 60s. I asked him why? He said he's paranoid about giving correct information online!
He wants his brother in law to go to the match too but instead of giving me his details he's got his son to set up an account instead! He sent me a screenshot of his son's account which only showed his account number and first name I needed his account number and surname. I used my friend's surname but I couldnt match it. I told my friend. He said his son had also taken his wife's surname as well. Using both surnames didnt work either. He then said he had spelt his son's wife's surname wrongly. I used the revised surnames. I still couldnt find it. I have asked him to get his son to contact the ticket office and explain the problem but I dont think they want to make the effort. Hopefully I may not need the account.
Why do people make things so difficult?
Wow

Money doesn’t make a good football club owner though does it.
When was he last in the Chapel Arms or any pub with supporters before a game? Do Saints supporters see him as a football fan with a passion or does he just own the club?

Although many including me have some reservations about Acun Ilicali our owner. If we had done the same, you could bet that the reaction from Acun would be miles different. Has Dragan commented on this mess, no! The club has accepted it broke the rules and has shut up shop.

Starting from the top down, they need to be a bit more ****ing humble and say sorry to their own fans and most of all ours for ****ing up everyone’s day in the sun at Wembley.

For all of his money he is detached from the effect on the game and he should **** off back to Serbia and take his coaching staff with him.
