Quick question re Wembley for anyone who has ever had to deal with this sort of thing before.

My Dad isn't officially disabled but struggles with stairs these days, i'm mindful that the vast majority of us are likely to be eligible at 1.30 and it might be a bit of a scrap for tickets on the bottom tier (plan A is to get cat 3 tickets in the corner as close to an exit as possible), if as I suspect that turns out to be difficult I might bite the bullet on one of the cat 2 tickets in the middle tier because I have a feeling these use escalators and all seats are near an exit as well as being lower traffic, but I can't quite remember, does anyone know if those are easy to get in and out of for anyone who struggles with stairs?

Same Question for me - I am normally mobile, but just had foot surgery so will be on crutches. I can sit anywhere, but would prefer a more easily accessible seat

Based on the latest updates from Wembley Stadium as of May 2026, there are key, temporary changes to accessible entry, particularly concerning transport and digital ticketing.

Important Temporary Access Information
  • Wembley Park Station Lifts Out of Action: The accessible lift connecting Wembley Park Station to Olympic Way is undergoing replacement works and will be out of service until September 2026.
  • Alternative Step-Free Access: Step-free access is still available via the entrance and exit on Bridge Road.
  • Accessible Shuttle: A wheelchair-accessible shuttle operates approximately every 30 minutes between Wembley Park tube station and the stadium (Rutherford Way). [1, 2, 3]

Invalid Access/Ticketing Issues
  • Mandatory Digital Access Pass (DAP): Wembley Stadium now uses the Nimbus Access Card/Wembley Digital Access Pass system. Validating your access requirements is necessary to purchase accessible tickets.
  • Tickets Not Supported: Accessible tickets purchased through third-party sites (not the dedicated Wembley Disability Access Line) may not be supported.
  • Using Other Venues' Passes: Digital Access Passes issued for other venues cannot be used for bookings at Wembley Stadium.
  • Telephone Registration: If you cannot use online forms, you can register for the access scheme by phone via Nimbus on 0330 808 5108. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

On-Site Support & Resources
  • "Here to Help" Staff: Customer Engagement staff (in red jackets) can assist with travel to seats, including providing a "pushing and chaperone" service, which is not pre-bookable.
  • Accessible Entrances: All entrance gates have accessible points, usually indicated by a disability sign.
  • Sensory Rooms: Applications for Sensory/Inclusion rooms are only accepted via event-specific links, not through general enquiries. [1, 2, 3]
If you are facing an "invalid access" error on your ticket, you should contact the Wembley Support Portal immediately or look for the Ticket Office staff on match day.

Hi, my Dad as he got older struggled with the stairs at Wembley as they are quite shallow and steep. Also the stewards tried to rush him and were particularly unsympathetic. While this may have been an exception I would recommend trying to get lower down if possible. Sorry.

Weird how some of the category boundaries are different.

My cat 3 ticket for City is cat 2 for this. So £82 instead of £45.

Gonna go cheap seats up in gods I think.

Yep. Mine was all good earlier. It knew straight away what my window was (11:30)
Yes that's normal. Just make sure you're logged in, have the people you're also buying tickets for (if you are) in your friends and family list, and be ready to go 20/15 minutes before your ticket window
Thanks, logged in as me on one browser and my mate in the other :) (we are linked but one logon may work faster :) )

At SF I was up in the Gods, 2 rows from the roof. There were escalators but someone thought it was a good idea to press the stop button. Had to walk up the escalators. Might have sensible fans in cat2.

Hull are an awful match up for us. Exactly the type of team we struggle against as shown by our results against them. Big, physical, good at soaking pressure and hitting on the break, complete opposite of Boro in that they are extremely efficient in front of goal. Really tough game this. Won't want to start as weakly as we have in the past few games.
