I think his arm is pushed up by the attacker’s shoulder. It’s leverage but he can’t drop it as the opponent is there
Yeah, it looked as if that might be the case. You’ve got to use your arms when jumping for a header. The lad did put his up quite high then wasn’t helped by the Celtic player jumping next to him. Would have been a tough call to say no penalty.

Exactly my thoughts. The attacker jumping pushes his arm up. Its gping to hit the defenders head but he can't move it because of the striker jumping.

It'll be a draw next week with a decent referee.
I fkin hope so, or a Hearts win would be even better. C'mon the Jambos! I've lost count of how many Celtic have scored this season in stoppage time.

Motherwell have certainly had a big say in the title race. Beat Rangers a few weeks ago, then drew with Hearts, before narrowly losing to Celtic.

As they said in Airplane. "What a pisser!"

Not in with the Hearts love in considering they are being backed by the Brighton owner.

Just watched the highlights and you can't complain too much with that penalty claim. His arm is up above his head and it makes contact.

I would have preferred Motherwell to have won it off the back of playing some great football this year

Celtic v Hearts Saturday 16th May 12.30 k.o. from a neutrals view I'll be supporting the underdog (as always being a Sunderland fan).

I hate VAR with a passion, its killing the game. That decision last night was a travesty. Imagine that decision against us..we would be going mental. But as with VAR when it comes to certain clubs in the EPL the same in the Mickey Mouse league in Scotland, God forbid any other team other than the Old Firm win trophies. Shocking

As hearts have been too pretty much all season, why is the last game at Celtic instead of their place? The way they do the fixtures up there makes me think it’s something they could’ve easily done, but have decided Celtic are at home to try to help them!

Hope hearts batter them
The whole two part thing is a ridiculous joke. And as you say, coming up with that fixture absolutely reeks of bias.

It's not so much pro Hearts, but against the boring, status quo.

As for Bloom, I'm not sure he has actually put all that much cash in (yet), though I don't like multi club ownership either.

The sight of gormless away fans in woolly hats with a green background and Arabic scrawl on is another reason for wanting Hearts to win mind

I haven’t seen anything which definitively shows he majes contact, particularly not what was shown on VAR.

But I also don’t think he “put his arm” up there. He has jumped for the ball and the opponent’s shoulder is under his elbow, which pushes his arm onto his head.

As I say, I have seen a number of gifs and images, none of them definitively prove he actually touched the ball with his hand. Possibly? Yes, but no way was there enough to overturn the on field. No way that hearts get that on Saturday!

Dont get why the FA cant get it to work and other Countries have it down to a fcken T,

Possibly because the VAR team are at the ground, so it takes seconds

Hearts have possibly lost the league because of that,

West Ham are almost certain that they are going down now, got that point on Sunday things could look different

VAR favours the big teams, ~
HOW many times has var overlooked certain things for us,
but in other games, the same things has gone to VAR..
