But that is the whole problem notDistant.....YOU should be interested in your leaders and their private lives.....the depravity of modern life is why the world and this country is hitting the rocks......life style is so important.....you need your leaders to be moral ethical honest and honorable people.

Suggesting that these fundamentals have changed "in this day and age" shows you why we are in such a mess morally and physically .
 
It’s not only morally wrong to be prejudiced against people because of their sexuality, religion and/or skin colour, it’s rightly illegal.

These prejudices do seem to be prevalent in certain social groups clustered at either end of the income spectrum, where they share only a passing interest in paying their taxes. At the lower end, think erstwhile football hooligans and at the top, Richard Tice. Their political party of choice is Reform, which panders to them.
 
A morally upright person strictly adheres to high moral principles, acting with honesty, integrity, and righteousness in all aspects of life.

They are deemed trustworthy and principled, often choosing to do the right thing even when it is difficult, inconvenient, or when no one is watching.

Wes Streeting cannot conform to those standards......he is engaged to Joe Dancey.....if Streeting became PM would that mean two gay men would be in residence at No 10.......what part of "morally high" am I getting wrong.

Perhaps you could rate the following in order of moral turpitude:

1) Nigel Farage failing to declare a £5m “gift” from a patron to the Parliamentary authorities - and I seem to remember falsely claiming expenses when a member of the European Parliament.

2) Richard Tice operating a network of dormant companies in order to shield large amounts of money from UK tax authorities.

3) Two adult males living in an entirely legal and acknowledged domestic relationship.

I presume 3) is true although I didn’t know about and couldn’t care less now I do know. You didn’t hear it from someone in Reform did you? If so, it’s probably a lie like so much of the rest.
 
1.....The "gift" as you call it was given to him before he had a parliamentary seat....so difficult to declare.....and as you well know it had been put to use giving him protection .....which no government was willing to give him as a high profile politician.....which was totally wrong.

2.....Tice is not a favourite of mine and I know nothing of what your "suggesting" about him.

3.....I do have personal views about homosexuality.....so we need to differ on that.....he calls himself a gay-christian.....biblically that is impossible....unless he is not a practicing homosexual.....if so why is he living with a similar type person ?

I think the Kings speech starting soon will be interesting........and why did Streeting have a 19 minute meeting at No 10 this morning....I'm hoping it isn't what I think it might be.........couldn't see Starmer going down that route.

You claim to be saying what you say on religious grounds which, even though I don't believe in any of it, the organisation preaches tolerance and forgiveness. The Church is full of gay people and may I add *****philes which the so called great and good of the organisation turn a blind eye to. I'm guessing you find it almost imposible to find a church to attend if indeed you even do.

I admit the second of them is more of a misdemeanour but it is tied in with an obsession with race.

I think I can now safely admit that from 6th form days for a few years my friends and I smoked cannabis on a pretty regular basis and we were white middle class to a man (boy?). Without the race angle it’s hardly remarkable in this century is it?
 
Angela Raynor apparently did nothing wrong in not paying the Stamp Duty due on a property transaction. Perhaps we can all do it next time.

So, she’s now able to stand for election for leader of the Labour Party and therefore Prime Minister.

Still think it’s a good idea to get rid of Kier Starmer?

By the way, did you see that a group of trade unions issued a joint statement saying that “Kier Starmer would NOT be leader of the Labour Party at the next election”. Who the **** do they think they are? They don’t have a vote in leadership elections and we decide in General Elections.”
