Aye he is different but I'm not convinced different would necessarily work, Isidor fits the criteria and can sometimes hold it up when he feels like it - not sure you get the space behind in the premier league for it to fully work, at least you can't be one dimensional in that aspect.

I think brobbey is also pretty limited but at least his attributes suit us and the league - get someone who can hold the ball up but has a bit more to their game and thats what I think would succeed more.

You've got the likes of:
Panichelli - ACL a worry but might make him more attainable.
Ponomarenko - been fantastic in Ukraine and seems a big step up from their recent prospects over there.
Matanovic - think he was talked about on here previously but he's looked really promising for Freiburg.
Rodriguez - One of the most exciting strikers in Spain for elche, can carry the ball shoot from anywhere and tops the stats for aerial wins.
Espi - At levante he's limited technically for me, but would provide a willing runner in the channels and is a genuine threat in the air from crosses, had 4/5 headed shots in their last game alone.
Ferri - much more of a project but his hold up is fantastic, he just needs to start adding goals more consistently.
Asllani - Maybe too optimistic but he's 2 footed, physical and creates chances for others as he can play as a 9 or a second striker.

That's just off the top of my head but there's a few others I've watched this season and really like - can't bring their names to mind. But I think it would be nice to go young and initially provide competition for brobbey but by the end of the season have brobbey coming off the bench rather than the inverse.
Aye I’ve seen a bit of Rodriguez earlier in season he definitely looks like on with massive potential, Elche may go down yet so he likely be sold.

Panichelli was class when I seen him, that was when he was in Spain so I’m sure he will have improved too.

I do think Brobbey gets more goals next season mind, so there’s that as well. I think Abline is better on ball than Wilson and better linking up so there’s still a gain there.

Can’t see Wilson being here next season.

Do we think Brobbey will get more free kicks and penalties next season, if we improve our attacking threats? At the moment he is only getting good service into the box 2 or 3 times a game. If we can double that or more then refs should find the constant fouling harder to ignore.

He definitely should score more if he was in from the off, and a pre season would help as he was injured for Ajax.

Wilson definitely off but yeah my point was he's deemed not enough and could still offer more than openda in an RLB side.

Will be interesting if they sign a number 1 or backup striker really as one will surely come in.

Aye I think will be a second striker, we just need to get more support for Brobbey really, hope remains Diarra is more impactful next season.

I do think the left sided balance would help so Fatawu or Bouzamana Toure who I’ve just seen linked would fit the bill.

Toure is brilliant yeah, annoyingly plays on the left where it does feel we've already for too many bodies.

Like you say RW will be the most important business we do as it could totally change our attacking dynamic - I weirdly think we might try to improve on brobbey but then equally wouldn't be surprised if it was a younger backup with the idea to eventually replace him

Aye he’s a bit of an anomaly that he’s a lefty on the left.

Most go with inverted now but there’s a school of thought you get the ball in quicker if on the ‘right side’, it’s not like what we do right now is bringing in the goals.

Issue is Talbi, who I like, looks lost on the right cos he likes to come inside.

I’m sure the club are backing Jocelin for that role anyway, we just need a bit more.

Farawu has that cut in and smash it ability we badly lack.

Thing is we generally so solid at back and in midfield bar last handful of games if we can add 10-15 goals we can absolutely soar.

Yeah fine margins to improve, I'm not totally sure who id want on the right - an abundance of left wingers about which annoyingly we don't really need.

I also like talbi, he has to make some personal leaps in ability to actually be good enough to start every week but the ingredients are there.

Confidence for me mate.

If he starts well and does his man he looks quality, if he gets owned early he drops.

He’s definitely got it. He was quality for Bruges in the CL just some belief.

He’s better when he doesn’t think about it, as are most top wingers. He will come very good.

Aye he had some good games, their fans were generally surprised we bid so much as he'd had a good 4-6weeks and wasn't great the rest

I liked the look of Bakwa at the weekend. We were linked with him last season and he’s not had much game time this season with Forest

He's been underwhelming but like you say he's not really had a chance to get any momentum - I think he was one of our main targets in the summer and his last minute forest move led to us getting Bert.

Exactly marra,we’ve really been weakened as an attacking force since December on our right side,i know it’s hypothetical but I feel we would have another 8/9/10 points on the board if we had kept Traore fit or a quality alternative, but it’s our first season in the league so we are building gradually so still very happy with our progression

I agree with that. Afcon messed us up for that specific reason. Traore was good. He’ll probably not be good value but i’d love Bowen if West Ham drop. Plus Fernandes further back.
