OK, I'm probably the only person in the World who thinks his tunes are garbage.
But I'm not going to change my mind just because everyone else thinks he's a genius.
To me his material has all the emotional depth of a mid 1970's ABBA song.
But it pretends to be high art - which ABBA's enjoyable tinsel tunes have never done.
You’re not mad, everyone else is ?

The French have a saying "You can't argue about taste ". Some people do though. A former work colleague witnessed a fight over who was better, Vera Lynn or Frank Sinatra.

Well done Bulgaria <applause> Bunga Bunga?
12 points from the Italians I expect.

UK came last <laugh>
One point - and for the 3rd year running we got zero points from the judges <wah>
To be fair though our song was utter crap.

A word of advice...
Can we stop trying to suck up to the moronic Euro-camp beat and just enter a decent song?
You never know, we might even finish mid-table.

Sandie Shaw, Lulu and Cliff Richard are all still alive (I think)

Hardly qualifies as 'entertainment' but Married at First Sight on Channel 4 is embroiled in a sex scandal.

A program where women apparently marry men the first time they meet them. Does what it says on the tin.
And it apparently has a "welfare team" <laugh>

One of the women told this team that her 'husband' had threatened he would get someone to throw acid in her face.
The team noted that as a "passing comment" rather than a threat <doh>
Good grief.
The producers of this show ought to be prosecuted for putting silly. vulnerable star-struck women in danger from predatory men.
That must come under some existing law.

Who would have thought that this bizarre idea would attract dodgy types??

Yes it was very wrong to force those people to take part in this program.
